A doctor who actually listens! She worked with me to determine timelines for pap smears and testing that were outside default recommendations, but that made more sense for my unique circumstances. She took my concerns seriously too. I have had some very painful pap smears in the past. I told her about those and she took extra care. Her pap smear was the first pain-free one I've ever had.

I saw Dr. Burt for the first time recently, she was the first doctor who literally spent an entire hour with me and seemed so genuine. Anytime I finished one thing she would say and what else? Making sure I was heard and got to ask all my health questions. I came in with a laundry list of labs and hormone concerns and she ran many of them and explained to me why I wouldn’t have X problem I googled ...

Dr. Burt took the full hour of our initial appointment to chat and get to know me (and vice versa) rather than rushing me out and on to her next appointment even though we finished 20 minutes early. She was thorough, LISTENED to me, and partnered with me on my health care rather than just assuming she knew best. Would absolutely recommend!
