Andrew Deck's Online Review Report Card

Since moving to Seattle 5 years ago I've had mixed experiences with doctors until I starting seeing Dr. Deck for a variety of reasons. Dr. Deck made me feel comfortable and able to share my medical history so that we could find the best path forward. He is a great example of medical professional that is on time, consistent, responsible, a great listener, educated and highly skilled. I've had several follow ups and felt that he would always make time for my concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Deck - his lifetime of experience speaks volumes and his attitude towards medicine has given me new born confidence in the medical system. Thanks a lot for setting a great example for others on your team and in the medical community.

In response to Slater---my apologies I was running late the day of your appointment. I am very detail oriented with each patient's visit, but I also try to be mindful of each patient's time. To clarify the information your review: I sent you a MyChart patient portal message with your ultrasound results the day after your appointment, but you did not read that message for 5 more days. In the ultrasound result message, I explained your ultrasound findings, offered to order you further imaging if you were still having symptoms, and offered you a telemedicine visit if you wanted to discuss your test results further. I make full effort to get my patients all of their test result back promptly with clear explanations of results. If the MyChart Portal was not easy for you to use, we could have connected you with our IT specialist to help you with the system. Andrew Deck MD

This experience was so awful that I need to share hoping it might help others when choosing a urologist. I saw Deck on 9/1 for horrible flank pain I had and fear that it might be my first kidney stone. He was 40 minutes late (which unfortunately often the case with doctors) and essentially ordered labs and imaging to be done. I had both done the day of the visit. I few days later a nurse called from the office saying that the labs looked fine. When I asked about the imaging he was unaware that images had been taken and said he would follow up. Never did. I sent the images to my doctor who identified a kidney stone and said that I should be urinating in a screen so that Deck could analyze the stone once passed. I finally got a hold of Decks team who told me that Deck reviewed the images, gave notes but never sent them to me and to call back in a year. I asked for a zoom appt and they told me he could meet in 3 weeks. The nurse was short and rude. Don’t take on new patients

DR. DECK. Has treated me for Kidney stones, He is a excellent doctor. I would and have referred him to several friends.

Excellent vasectomy experience.

My husband was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer early stage. He has walked us through the what we can expect with this diagnosis and has been attentive to all symptoms. My husband tends to obsess with any change in his urinary habits and any abnormal pains, sends a message to Dr. Deck and within hours, Dr. Deck responds promptly. The office staff, whether administrative or nursing including surgery center, are amazing. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr. Deck for five years or so. Dr Deck has always been punctual, attentive to my questions, interested in my observations and never seems like he's trying to get done and move on to the next patient. Dr. Deck was recommended to me by my GP and as he had a full patient load I wasn't expecting to be able to fit into his practice's schedule. As it hsppens, he welcomed me, has been great and i would highly recommend his care if he has room. The office front desk and his support staff have also been punctual, clear and professional. Great to find health care like this so close to home.

I have been thoroughly impressed with Dr. Deck and his staff throughout my bladder cancer treatment. I have had a very easy time scheduling appointments, and Dr. Deck has really taken a lot of time to make sure that my wife and I have understood all aspects of my treatment. He is very caring and has made me feel very comfortable during what should be a difficult time in my life. I cannot recommend this office highly enough!

Dr. Deck is amazing. He really takes his time understanding all your concerns and explains things thoroughly, and simply. . He is really friendly and seems to be and all-around great guy as well as a great doctor.

I was a regular patient beginning with a referral. Despite this, I was not able to successfully see him despite trying for over 6 mos. After scheduling my appointment (soonest available) on a date two months into the future, Deck was not there when I arrived. Rescheduled- his office called me one day before the appointment and told me I needed to reschedule; soonest available was a month out. One day before that appointment, his office called (again) and wanted to reschedule again. I told them to forget it. Inexcusable. Unprofessional.
