List of Ann W. Okpara's Reviews
Although Ann is no doubt a professional she lacked empathy when my husband brought up his documented history of pain that would impact the procedure discussed with her. Furthermore the discharge summary she provided did not at all document the discussion we had about how to mitigate my husbands pain.
I went in for a visit due to a weak bladder. Dr. Okpara was thorough and did not rush me at all. She made sure I understood any issues.
The worst experience with a medical provider I’ve ever had. She was insulting, belittling and rude, not to mention haphazardly gave a life-changing “diagnosis” that was inaccurate and had her advice been followed, would have derailed other essential treatment plans.
We had our first appointment with Dr. Okpara, where we were getting a 2nd opinion. She gave us all the detail information that we were lacking from our other dr. Even though it was not the diagnosis we were hoping for, we left with the good understanding of my father’s condition. She was excellent.
This is the most inept medical provider I have ever taken my mother to. She has misdiagnosed my mother, called in prescriptions for my mother and then later denied she did so. I rarely write reviews, but I feel strongly that people need to be warned about this woman. My mother is elderly and her health is fragile. Giving this woman an initial benefit of the doubt almost cost my mother her life. Please avoid this provider at all costs.
Ann Okpara is great. She spent plenty of time getting a better understanding of my health history, was a good listener, answered my questions in terms I could understand and asked me more than once if I had any further questions. The visit was not rushed. She was clear in communicating what was going to happen next and the exam was thorough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
