Dr. Rostov took time to explain the SMILE procedure in detail and made sure to me comfortable throughout. She and her team worked so seamlessly and efficiently that I felt like I was in hands of experts the whole time. Dr. Rostov is highly talented, caring and at the top of her professional game.

1.5 years ago I was an unlucky to meet dr. Rostov. Her unclear instructions during my SMILE surgery leaded to difficulties during the procedure. My eye never fully recovered after that. Dr. Rostov didn’t offer any touch up procedures and canceled our contract without any warnings (explaining it that my behavior was rude etc. I was getting multiple calls from clinic “by mistake ” and one of the callers told me a wrong diagnosis, another was demanding me pay for something etc. in order to stop this I had to be rude) She also missed a diagnosis for my second eye and pushed me to drive car when my vision wasn’t good enough. Insisting my condition (my near vision was damaged ) is a fair trade of for improved far vision. Clinic offered me money back to never share my experience. So think twice about all the positive reviews you see here and why exactly there are not negative reviews.

Dr. Audrey Talley Rostov is not friendly. There was always a long wait to get seen this was before covid (like almost 2 hours wait)... Then she will only check you for less than 5 minutes.. This review is based on my many visits years back.

My son was diagnosed 10yrs ago with kerataconus in both eyes. We were recommended to Dr. Rostov then and have seen her consistently since. My son has had many surgeries and issues and Dr. Rostov has gone out of her way to treat . She is kind, thorough and at the top of her field. I highly recommend her.

excellent vision recovery after a lifetime of one eye wildly off from the other with astigmatism and farsightedness. add in cataracts, happily by the time i went in for possible lasik surgery a new type of lens to correct multifocal vision plus astigmatism is now available just since jan 2018 -corrected both eyes to 20-20 so what the heck is better than that?! 1st surgery i did have to wait nearly 5 hours due to earlier surgery patients that had complications. 2nd surgery wait 1.5 hrs.Excellent!

Surgery on both of my eyes was performed by Doctor Rostov, one in September and the last one in February 2019. I am soooo thankful to Dr. Rostov for her kindness, talent, skills and professionalism. She is top notch to say bluntly. ... and believe me, I could go on and on how happy I am with my vision.

Dr. Rostov is a miracle worker. After being told I wasn’t a good candidate for cornea transplant surgery in New York, we moved to Washington and found Dr. Rostov. Not only did she restore my sight, she also restored my positive outlook on life. Now I can see the beautiful hummingbirds at my feeders and the views of Discovery Bay out my windows. And most importantly, I can walk safely and confidently without fear of falling. Thank you Dr. Rostov. I’m Joan and I wrote this recommendation through my husband’s account.

I cannot make a higher recommendation for Dr Rostov and the staff at Northwest Eye Surgeons. She is a world class surgeon, on every level, who has been treating my fairly extensive, and difficult to treat, cornea problems with great success since I moved here 7 years ago. In addition to being extremely talented, she’s a genuinely nice, caring person who manages to make my visits about rather unpleasant things surprisingly pleasant. While her skill alone is enough to keep me coming back, having eye problems is really stressful, so having a surgeon you actually like as a person makes everything much more bearable. She always answers my questions and is very patient. The surgery follow up docs are fantastic, too. Most recently I dealt with Dr Jones and he is great, also. Very thorough and knowledgeable, as well. Yes, I know there are waits here. In my mind it’s a very (VERY) small price to pay for vision. I have also been the cause for those waits a few times. Eyes are not always (ever?) predictable and I know Dr Rostov cares deeply about good outcomes. When a surprise presents itself, she doesn’t rush through it. I see this as a positive. It’s also just a very busy office because she is the best at what she does. I am truly thankful every day for the care I have received from Dr Rostov.
