So glad we saw Dr. Scott for a second opinion when my dad's regular oncologist/hematologist said nothing more could be done for my dad's MDS. Dr. Scott's knowledge and treatment gave us our dad/grandpa for another 18 months. We're thankful for him.

Took time and money to travel for a consultation regarding targeted treatment of specific MDS mutations. Don't waste your time and money consulting with this Dr. The basic focus was allogeneic stem cell transplantation - which for me has more risk than reward. Mutation questions weren't answered and no targeted treatments were ever provided.

Why are my reviews being deleted? They're honest. I've only known him for 2 days but out of the year and 3 months since I have been diagnosed with AML, he is the only person to have called the ER and mess with my care there. I take 8-16mgs of dilaudid at a time and he made them give me 2mg…. really? Who does that?? You are so petty. Frankly I am disgusted by this gross, gross man and I am doing everything in my power to be assigned to a different doctor. It's so unfortunate that this single person has soured my otherwise wonderful experience at SCCA. The front desk, all (well, all but one) the nurses, techs, specialists, and doctors are so warm and wonderful -- he doesn't fit in at all. I can't wait to never see him again. I don't trust him at all with my care.

Histrionic, throws his hands up in the air and rolls his eyes if he doesn't agree with you, no compassion/empathy, less mature than the pre-teens I take care of at church.
