Dr. Giedt is one of the best. I’m 53 with a history of a lot of health issues. I’ve had 3 great primary care physicians in my life. They are Anne Tuttle & Jason Norsen (or Norson?) at Virginia Mason in Bellevue and Cassandra Giedt, (my current pcp,) at Polyclinic Madison in Seattle. The last couple years have been rough for me. Dr. Giedt is doing everything she can to help me. I greatly appreciate her!

I haven't had any serious health problems but in the 15 years I've seen Dr. Giedt as my PCP she's always spent the time I thought necessary (and welcome) with me to discuss my issues and has referred me to excellent resources when needed. I feel safe in her care.

I presented with classic symptoms of coronary disease. After a cholesteral test, she said it was normal and my symptoms must be something else. I paid out of pocket and went to a cardiologist, since I KNEW something was very wrong, and the day after seeing the cardiologist I was in the hospital having open heart surgery. My wife noticed a pattern with Giedt long before my experience; Giedt hides behind test results and ignores the presenting patient sitting right in front of her. Wife also noticed that if she presented with symptoms that could use more thorough testing, Giedt seemed to become confused and shut down, ultimately doing nothing. If all you need is vaccinations or your sore throat looked at, she's probably fine; but if you have a more complicated condition you may be better off finding someone else. My experience was a few years ago, and we have a new PCP now. If I had stayed with Giedt I would be dead now. But my cholesteral would be fine.

I always feel better just talking with Dr. Giedt. She really listens and cares. The appointments are somewhat difficult since she works only part-time. The front desk workers are greatly improved - friendly and professional.

Dr Giedt is a great doc. She is wonderful answering all my questions about my new baby as she is a recent mother as well. She is up on all recent info on pregnancy and childbirth and has a great bedside manner. She will answer all my calls after hours and the other docs on her office are just a great about returning calls if they are the on-call doc. I feel safe having all my family in her care.
