List of Dan Buquicchio's Reviews
I don't like typical chiropractors, and Dr. Dan is no typical "bone-cracking" chiropractor - he is smart, sensitive, talented, funny, and trustworthy. I was referred to see Dr. Dan because of horrible hip and back pain. Dr. Dan evaluated me and recommended a treatment path. His plan was SPOT ON and my pain was GONE! I go back periodically to get readjusted and it always works. I can't recommend him and his staff enough. If you have debilitating back issues, come see him first before you see another Chiropractor or back surgeon. Really
This is not about Dr. Buquicchio whom I have not had an opportunity to visit. This review is about his office staff person when I tried to schedule an emergency appointment for a hip injury. The person's name is, I believe, Serena. This person said he was the biller and scheduler. When I attempted to explain my injury, describe my insurance coverage and get an appointment ASAP, Serena went into some kind of offended snit. I asked to be seen immediately if possible and Serena said I was 'berating' him, told me to find another doctor and hung up. This chiropractor was highly recommended to me by a close friend. Maybe I'll visit with him after Serena gets anger management counseling or just goes away.
I've had intermittent neck and shoulder problems for almost a year. Massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic have not really helped much. Most times I've gone to see a chiropractor they try to get me on a long program of attending 3x a week for a month, then 2x a week for another month, then once a week for many more months, often asking me to pay hundreds of dollars in advance before I've even had one adjustment. No thanks. Dr. Dan told me up front that if he couldn't get me feeling normal in three visits I should probably just look elsewhere. Right off the bat I like this guy.He uses a little tiny adjusting "gun" that is very gentle -- no sharp head-twisting maneuvers. You almost wonder if it's doing anything it feels so unobtrusive. True to his word, after 2-3 visits I felt more or less normal. He also gave me some exercises to help me from getting into this spot again. After seeing him I went a year without neck problems whereas before I was having episodes every 4-6 months. Dan's also a super nice guy and the receptionists are good folks, too. Couldn't recommend more highly.
Dr Dan uses an amazingly gentle yet effective technique. He barely touches you at all with his hands, just uses a hand held adjustment device with which he taps areas to bring them into alignment. No cracks, snaps, crunches or pseudo sumo moves here. He also offers useful advice about how to get yourself back on track. This is a great type of treatment.
Dr. Dan is the man! He is by far the best chiropractor I have ever seen over the past 20 years for the management of chronic neck pain. Dr. Dan is an intuitive healer, and always adjusts me in all the right spots with the activator. One thing I love about Dr. Dan's therapy style is how he doesn't expect you to come in for visits over and over again like many chiropractors do. Dr. Dan has taught me helpful exercises, recommended massage when needed, and has me on a very easy preventative maintenance plan that has kept me in good health over the past few years. I feel lucky to have Dr. Dan as part of my health team, and I know that he always has my best interests in mind. Not only is Dr. Dan an amazing practitioner of chiropractic medicine, he has a fantastic heart and joyful spirit. His energy and personality always make my day. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Dan. He's the best.
Dr Dan should not even be called a chiropractor because he is not the typical type. He does not do hardcore crunching adjustments, nor make you come 80 times a week for the next year! I have seen him when I need to for the last year after a near disabling fall. Even his activator is nothing like I've seen before - it is not the one just has a "clunk" but has has three depths. He also spends time manually adjusting and really listening - to me and my body. He also taught adjustments at Bastyr and the one time I felt like I needed that good "crunch" on my neck he was so gentle I did even realize it was done - that is of course except the pain was gone. Frankly, he is heavenly. *sigh*
Dr Dan rocks! He is am amazing healer and I have gotten my life back because of him. I have sent several people to him and they have also had great experiences. He is not the "come 4 times a week for a year" kind of chiro. His work is gentle but profound! I would give him more stars if I could!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
