Anytime you hear the word surgery and cancer it becomes an incredibly frightening time. Dr Berg with his amazing team, Jillian & Leeann, make this frightening time one of comfort, secure and calmness. Their dedication to patient care and making you feel like you are the only patient they are seeing that day is exceptional. I highly recommend them. Dr Berg you said "A+" and you you delivered it-thank you!

I went in to have a Mohs procedure performed. From my first contact (Andrea at the front desk), to the very last minutes as I was leaving, I was surrounded by a group of engaged, compassionate, and even fun folks. I enjoyed my stay there tremendously and will consistently refer friends and family to Fr. Berg and his team.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with my skin cancer treatment done by Dr. Berg. He is kind, personable and professional. His staff put me at ease and I felt complete trust in Dr. Berg’s professional skill. A patient, accomplished and funny doctor.

Dr. Berg's work is impeccable. He is careful, skilled, experienced. One of the other patients in the waiting room told me that Dr. Berg is "an artist", and I concur. Over the 5 years in which Dr. Berg has cured 6 different scc and bcc carcinomas, including difficult areas (lip, nose and ear). Of course Dr. Berg has an excellent support staff. Good doctors always do. I'm attaching a photo-- I know I'm no model, but see if you can find any signs of surgery on upper right lip (one year ago), left nose (5 years), right ear, right cheek, left cheek. I have had four cancer surgeries on my face, three of them Mohs. My most recent surgery was done by Dr. Berg. This was, by far, my best experience in terms of both experience and result. I can't say enough about Dr. Berg and his staff and their professionalism, skill and compassion. I felt completely supported - also that they cared. I believe that Dr. Berg is a superb surgeon and I am very happy with the results. I could go on and on. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Berg and his team for Mohs surgery.

I had two MOH's surgeries with Dr Berg. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants the very best. He took his time and answered all my questions. The incisions are healing well and look good. His staff is great too. They actually talk to you when you call! They are pleasant and knowledgeable and work as a team with Dr Berg. Other medical practices could learn a lot from this office.

Here is Chapter 2 of my consequences for being a 'sun worshiper' during my young adulthood in Colorado and New Mexico! The fourth facial basal cell skin cancer (BCC) was on the cleft between my upper lip and nose. Dr. Stephen Greene, my dermatologist, who has taken care of the last two BCCs, referred me to Dr. Berg, with whom he has worked in the past when the cancer site is in a sensitive area and skin grafts are a possibility. With trepidation (!), I made my appointment for early December (2018). When I got there, I was in for a surprise! It was the easiest surgery I've ever had! It didn't hurt, and it didn't take long (about 3 hours)!! The surgery site was, maybe, an inch square in that small area above my lip so I left there with what seemed to be a huge bandage over my lip but really didn't affect eating or drinking very much. Recovery has been uneventful, and now one can barely notice a scar. Dr. Berg, his nurses, and office staff are extremely nice, efficient, and competent people. I would have no problem going back there in the future (although I hope I have finished my penance for sunbathing!!).

Dr. Berg is a skilled and compassionate Mohs surgeon. His entire staff are compassionate and professional. Throughout my procedure and follow up repair, I always felt supported and welcome to contact the office with any concerns. The repair after removal of a significant cancer on my nose was complex and admittedly difficult, but the result is excellent. Cancer gone and a wonderful-looking nose. I recommend Dr. Berg wholeheartedly.

Several years ago Dr. Berg removed a tumor located in the left temple area of my face using the Mohs surgery technique. When I returned to his office for the removal of stitches Dr. Berg told me that because of the large size of the tumor there was a small chance that my lymph nodes had been affected and that a CAT Scan was advisable to find out. His office made arrangements for me to get the CAT Scan the same day. No lymph node problem was found but the scan found potential cancer in my thyroid. Subsequent testing revealed that I had thyroid cancer and when my thyroid was removed by Dr. John Ryan it was found that my thyroid was "riddled" with cancer which would likely have been fatal had it not been discovered prior to the emergence of symptoms.
