Not great for chronic acne treatment. Incorrect prescription numbers have been sent to my pharmacy multiple times, and I’ve had difficulty reaching clinic staff in between appointments. The care is straight forward and by the book, but not holistically focused. I don’t really feel cared for as an individual by the docs or staff.

Very professional and friendly, most important was the treatments ! All treatments did work !

5+ stars for Dr Jenkin and 0 for the esthetician I saw (Yolanda). I would probably change the number of stars except I think Dr J owns the clinic and I really like him. Dr Jenkin has been doing my Botox and fillers for many years and I have seen him here and there for minor dermatological issues. He does a great job keeping me looking young and natural. I appreciate that cosmetics are not his sole focus. I had an esthetician consult at one point and determined that I am a perfect candidate for laser treatment. $2500 and 4 treatments later, no changes. I have since seen another provider for this service and not only was the cost half as much, I got better results from one visit than I got with 4. I am annoyed because I assumed the esthetician I spoke with and gained confidence in would be doing the treatment. I come in for an appointment, and the person was clearly not skilled and I had never seen her before. She did one quick pass with the laser. It's just frustrating because the cost was exorbitant and I didn't get what I paid for.

Had a visit with Dr. Green Whipple and left very confused. She seemed nice enough but very rushed and wanted me out the door. I had a few concerns I wanted to bring up but she honed in on one, talked the whole time and didn't let me bring up anything else or get my questions in. She scraped my forehead with a little blade which made me uncomfortable. Couldn't give me a diagnosis, gave me multiple options she wrote on a note that I have no idea where to start with, told me to call if I thought of something I wanted prescribed and ran out the door and could hear her go into the next patient's room. Pretty upset because I'd been looking forward to getting to a dermatologist for my skin concerns but left with vague information on one small part of my skin I've already Googled.

Sadly, they do not accept money to see patients who aren’t in their insurance network, but they also don’t disclose that until you’ve driven (and parked) downtown to tell you this. If you aren’t within an insurance plan that they accept, you aren’t welcome here. Hopefully you aren’t suffering from a serious medical condition before you get this news and have to wait even longer for treatment. I called the insurance commissioner’s office and they confirmed that there is no law that prohibits them from accepting money to see patients with an individual insurance plan. My insurance company says I’m free to visit whomever I choose, and I do this often by paying out of pocket. It’s a simple concept; you provide a service and I pay for it. Having waited over three weeks to get this appointment, then to be told that they do not accept money, is frustrating to say the least. I recommend avoiding this place and looking for one that understands Washington state insurance laws, medical billing, discloses their payment systems, and accepts US dollars.

If you don't have any insurance or if you are on one of their network plans, then this place might be OK. I never made it past the reception desk.After waiting three weeks to get an appointment, I was told at the front desk that they don't accept individual health insurance plans and they don't accept US dollars. The receptionist said they "legally cannot" accept money from me.I contacted the Washington state insurance commissioner's office shortly after the visit, and they said there is no law that prohibits a medical provider for accepting money to provide medical services. The only limitation would be if one was on a Medicaid plan (I'm not). My insurance company also said I'm free to visit any doctor I like. If they are in the network, they'll pay for a lot of it. If the doctor is not in the network, then I'll pay for most or all of it. OK by me.But Dermatology Associates doesn't agree with either of them. You either belong to one of their network plans or they won't see you. Hopefully you don't have a serious medical condition as you'll have to wait again to visit a different dermatologist who understands Washington state insurance laws and how capitalism works.
