Dr. Darrell Fader's Online Review Report Card

Personable and professional - both Dr. Fader and his entire staff. I've been to several dermatologists in the city over the years (and was always unimpressed) - my search ended here :)

I was really impressed with Dr. Fader and his staff. They were very good at explaining exactly what to expect before, during and after surgery. Dr. Fader called a few hours after the surgery to see how I was doing, and is always accessible should there be any problems. I’d highly recommend them.

Visited during Covid year with a growth on my back. His staff gave me a local; he removed the growth; and the biopsy results were back in a couple days. It might not even scar. Couldn't be more satisfied.

3 years ago I had a basil cell carcinoma on the bridge of my nose. My dermatologist suggested and scheduled me with Dr. Fader. After the procedure I was certain I would have a terrible scar and it did take time to heal. There is no scar. I should have reported my excellent results in a review long ago.

I wrote this review and I guess it did not go to the correct business so I am writing it AGAIN!! ...OH MY GOD!!...I can not emphasize how fortunate and lucky I feel as to finding Dr. Darrell Fader and the Seattle Skin Cancer Clinic!...Somehow or another I found them online as to finding a private dermatologist that would accept patients with no insurance and first off the bat..Amy could not have been MORE helpful!..After faxing her some of my biopsies and lab results she said Dr. Fader would be able to help me with some MOHS surgery!..I had originally scheduled an appointment for the day before Thanksgiving but asked to be put on the waiting list for something earlier and WAHOO!...something came up and I got in earlier!...Dr. Fader was outstanding!...so qualified, so intelligent, so helpful and knowledgeable and just a genuinely nice PERSON!...All of the staff, Amy, Rachel, Samantha..could not have been more efficient, friendly, professional, and courteous!...I can not recommend them enough!..the great thing is that they have 5 offices so you can schedule on that is closest to you! ..Ballard, Bellevue, Burien, Pouslbo, and Issaquah!..Amazing and once again..I feel so lucky to have found them and truly recommend their services to anyone who has skin issues...They knew I was in a time sensitive situation and helped me get in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible! Thanks again!...I would attach photos but that would be kind of gross! :) :)

The receptionists in this office seem miserable to be doing their job. I called to book a follow-up appointment for something I'm concerned about and when I asked questions on the phone I got rude, condescending responses that made it clear that their goal was to get me off the phone as quickly as possible so they could answer their next call. I've seen Dr. Fader a couple times and it's been fine, but the treatment from the office and lack of compassion will probably have me going elsewhere.

I went to Dr. Fader for a follow-up screening in January. I had surgery and treatment in New York before moving to Seattle, so I had all of my records sent to his office. At the appointment, it appeared that he had not reviewed any of my information. His advice and feedback was not related to my diagnosis (a very rare kind of cancer), and he did not provide me time to ask questions. I left feeling disappointed by his care. At the front desk when leaving, I was told I would receive a card in the mail to schedule my next appointment. I never received this card, and when I called to schedule my 6 month follow-up for July, I was told there were no appointments until September. This is unacceptable, and I will be finding another doctor who is more attentive and respectful.

Well first, I am NOT connected to San Francisco in any way and have no idea how or why YELP involves me in this. Further, I have NEVER seen Fader so can't review anything!!

Dr. Fader knows Mohs. Will listen, and take care of business.
