Dr. Robin Green-Whipple's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Whipple is a tremendous physician; an intelligent, experienced doctor who uses her vast knowledge to not only treat her patients, but provide them sound advice that is in their best interest. Her bedside manner, professionalism, and kindness have made me look forward to our appointments. I trust Dr. Whipple's opinions, not just because she's super smart, but because I believe she's a doctor who legitimately cares about my well-being. If you're looking for a great dermatologist in the Seattle area, I highly recommend Dr. Whipple.

I was so impressed with Dr Whipple - she was very professional, knowledgeable and very compassionate. I didn't feel rushed at all. She took the time to answer all my questions. Will definitely refer her to my family and friends.

Excellent dermatologist with great bedside manner. She was patient, through, tolerant and fun. She picked up a tiny melanoma in situ others missed and treated it successfully. I hope she returns to practice ASAP.

I highly recommend Dr. Green-Whipple. I have been seeing her for probably about 14 years. Even after moving much further from downtown, I continue to go back to her. She is thorough, concerned, and level-headed and I trust her judgment completely with my skin (I have had a few pre-cancerous moles). She cares about me as a person and keeps tabs on my family life. My only wish is that she had an identical twin in family medicine because I would be the first to sign up!

There were no negative components in my visits

Dr. Robin had her nurse call to give me the names of the dermatology specialists whom she referred me too. Skin Surgery Center in Seattle, but since they also have an office in Bellevue, I asked if I could go to Bellevue office because it is easier for me. My quandry is deciding which specialist to go to, Dr. Odland or Dr. Gorman since I am not familiar with either. My appointment will be in July, so I have a few days to think about it. Since this is my nose we are working on, naturally I am concerned that I have the best cosmetic result possible.

Well, the biopsy results came back positive for basal cell carcinoma. So now, it is necessary to be referred to a dermatology specialist because it is on the tip of my nose and Dr. Robin did not feel comfortable in cutting out more tissue. This will make the fourth "surgery" on this spot. It will need a bigger bandaid. . . . Uff Da!

I have been going in to have Dr. Robin do a yearly full body skin exam for skin cancer for several years. I feel very comfortable with her and her nurse, Susan. In my appointment yesterday, she did a shave of a spot on the tip of my nose that is a concern and sent it in for a biopsy to determine if it is a basal cell. It was previously treated by a Yakima dermatologist a couple of years ago and was told then that they got it all. We'll see. . . . It is more of a surprise to me that when Susan measured my height, she found that I am 5 foot 1/2 inch tall, and I have always been 5 foot 2 inches, so looks like I have shrunk 1 1/2 inch. Uff da!

Dr. Whipple talked very fast - too fast for me, at my age - and did a cursory annual exam. I left her practice to see a doctor who was more patient and tuned in to my needs.
