List of Emily Norland's Reviews
I don't recommend Dr. Norland. I went in thinking I had a routine pregnancy. She asked me about my husband and what he did for a living, which made me feel she was assessing me. She then sent me to a clinic for what I thought was a routine ultrasound. Turns out, she sent me to a clinic that assessed high risk patients. I was whisked into their world of forcing you into high cost tests early on in pregnancy. When we brought it up to our Emily that we were going to seek a more natural route, she yelled at me and then my husband. She took a long time in getting records transferred as I felt she was mad at us for not going with her. It was a horrible experience. She was not happy that we ultimately got pregnant and frankly we felt she couldn't care less. Worst Dr. I have ever encountered.
Immensely knowledgeable and skillful with a warm, compassionate bedside manner. Dr.Norland takes the time to answer all your concerns and questions and has a wonderful personality. I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Norland is an extremely talented medical professional. Her outstanding medical skills along with her caring demeanor makes her one of the best OBGYNs I've had. She is willing to listen to your concerns and address them patiently.
Dr. Norland is fantastic! I've never had a baby, but I have a long history with gynecologist due to the fact that I have endometriosis. I initially saw another gynecologist, but I didn't feel like we clicked. Dr. Norland and I have a very similar sense of humor and several hobbies in common. She is always kind and compassionate. The pain got to be too much several years ago, so I had a hysterectomy with her. She is kind, compassionate, and treat you like a friend. I am honestly shocked to see some of the reviews people have left. She is hard to get in to see since she does a lot of shifts at the hospital, but I schedule as far in advance as possible to be sure I see her.
I am a patient of Dr. Norlands, and she OBGyn while I was pregnant with both of my children. Womens appointments are never pleasant but Dr. Norland makes you feel at ease and before you know it, your exam is over. She is very knowledgeable and shows compassion. She also is very open to feedback to ensure all aspects of your visit, goes smoothly. She is the best and I have referred her to friends/family, and I will continue to do so.
I call to them on Tuesday and I got an appointment on Thursday, very fast and they are very sweet.
I was referred to her by my Dr Miller from Swedish hospital. They couldn't schedule an appointment for me immediately, I had to wait 1 month to see her to check how can they remove my tumor from my uterus. I live in Seattle, because of the traffic I was late 10 minutes. When I get there, the lady at the reception asked my ID and insurance card, she also asked my name 4 times, after 4 times I thought she got it. Waitin at the reception 10 minutes, I learned that I need to reschedule my appointment because I was late 10 minutes. No explanation, no empathy with a patient in pain, direct cancellation... I felt terrible and worthless, obviously my pain doesn't mean anything to this people, and it is very easy to tell come back next month! After I insisted they were "able" to reschedule it same day in a different time but not with Dr. Norlman! Why did I wait for her a month if I was going to see another doctor? Obviously they don't care about the patients and their health. Sullen faces and inconsiderate people. I will never go there again.
Dr. Norland is on a mission to ensure you get what you need to be healthy. She will always tell the truth about what she does or doesn't know-and then she will tell how she's going to support you and your family. I've been her patient for at least seven years, I am grateful she is my doctor.

I was referred to her by my Dr Miller from Swedish hospital. They couldn't schedule an appointment for me immediately, I had to wait 1 month to see her and she canceled my appointment because I was late 10 minutes. Obviously she doesn't care me as a person and she can cancel appointments very easy, in 10 minutes! I understand she has a busy schedule but I think a doctor should be able to give 10 minutes to a patient. I have to find another doctor for my tumor removal after waiting 1 month...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
