Erin Moore's Online Review Report Card

I guess that if you are needing botox or to engage in age-denying "medical" procedures, Dr. Moore is the person to go to, but I would avoid her if you have an actual skin issue. I went to see her twice in the space on the month for some really concerning skin issues. The first time I went, she made a fairly scary preliminary dignosis after seeing me for 5 minutes. I am giving her 2 stars because she did prescribe a cream that helped with my itching. After talking with several other providers who were convinced that her original DX was wrong, I went back to see her a month later. Before that appointment, I spent about an hour going through my journals and medical charts to create a timeline to assist with differential diagnosis and sent to to her in advance. She barely looked at it and seemed annoyed and rushed during our visit. She was able to offer some helpful info, but my PCP is the one who prescribed the med that made the difference in the end.The office and exam room is so full of posters and ads for botox and other cosmetic treatments that I felt like I was in a Medical-spa, not a doctor's office.

Dr. Moore is quite the good doctor. Problem it takes hours on end to make an appointment by phone. Other medical centers do not have such a problem.

Very disappointing. Saw her for two years before switching. She spends more time focused on your electronic chart than your face. Rushes through questions. She recommended Peter Jenkins at dermatology associates for procedures and he was as bad as her.

Dr. Erin Moore was great. I had an emergency bacterial infection and some repercussions of it affected areas of my skin. She was personable, explained her diagnosis, and prescribed the necessary treatments. I was much better within days.

Dr. Moore has been my dermatologist for six years. I am extremely skin cancer prone and require annual skin checks. Each year she remembers which moles are of concern and completes her checks quickly but thoroughly. I understand her bedside manner can come across as brusk but I’ve found she’s just straight-forward and no BS. That said, she’s very knowledgeable and will always answer questions if you have them, including in follow-up via MyChart if they don’t come to mind during the visit. I think the issues with scheduling and her wait time are the fault of the Polyclinic and not the doctor herself. I have weird skin with lots of suspect moles that grows over stitches faster than it should and she is always observant and cognizant of these concerns. After multiple biopsies, secondary removals, and an ongoing photographic record of concerning moles, I trust her to address any and all skin concerns I have.

I've been seeing Dr. Moore for many years and she has always been very professional. It is true that sometimes I have to schedule out several weeks but that is the way with most doctors at the Polyclinic. She's been on top of my medical care and I'm very thankful for her expertise.

Spent more time looking at her computer than me, talks and moves fast, I didn't feel listened to, she just does her quick consult and moves on to the next. Would not recommend

Great experience all around. I switched to Dr. Moore because my previous dermatologist is now on an island called West Seattle.From scheduling the appointment, to signing in at the clinic, to being roomed, and being seen by Dr. Moore - smooth sailing all the way.The front desk staff was friendly and funny, the medical staff was super attentive, and Dr. Moore was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She discover a suspicious mole which was removed and turned out to be cancerous. I am a 100% satisfied patient.

I am a retired Physician Assistant and I just had my first exam with Dr Moore. She was very thorough, knowledgeable and took the time to listen and address my concerns. I highly recommend her!!

Wow - reading the negative reviews (mostly about the wait) makes me think if we are speaking about the same doctor. First, we've gone to the Polyclinic on Madison for 10 years. Dr. Moore is kind, on time, professional and effective. She is a quality doctor. As for the one review review that denigrates her for doing interviews ... boo. She is easy going and fun to talk to. Our conversation has ranged from family conversations to funny stories.
