I saw him for maybe five minutes? He was very dismissive & seemed uninterested - just told me to use Flonase. He referred me to get a CT which I did and three weeks later... no follow up. Will not be returning.

Dr. Chu barely gave me the time of day when I visited him to check out a reoccurring ear infection. Maybe he's a better surgeon and find more serious conditions more interesting; but he basically rushed me through the appointment, gave me some ear drops and and then when I had a follow up question - his assistant sent a one line quote from him that didn't have any details or instructions that was helpful. When I went to reply for clarification, it had said they had turned off replies. I'll be switching doctors.

This doc didn't fully listen to my concerns then ordered unnecessary diagnostic tests and insisted that I follow through with them. His words were, "I just need you to do one more thing for me." He was unavailable for weeks when I called his office to try to get clarification on why he felt a video fluoroscopic swallow exam was an important next step. (I eventually decided to just do it, despite my misgivings. It came back with all negative findings.) During the initial visit, he actually used the phrase "treat 'em and street 'em," no joke, when I asked him why the initial visit was so brief and felt so rushed.

Dr. Chu has performed multiple surgeries on both ears and restored hearing to normal levels - something I never imagined happening. He has terrific bedside manner, very friendly and easy to ask questions of. Highly recommend!

I was given several names along with Dr. Chu and I am so delighted that I chose his to perform my surgery. I found Dr. Chu to be a warm and thoughtful man. We knew why I was there so he cut to the chase, explained his process, introduced me to his scheduler and to weeks later my surgery was done.

It took forever to get an appointment. Once I got one, the surgery scheduler never sent the pre-authorization request all the way through. I've lost track of how many times I've had to call to confirm pre-authorization of a surgery. I finally got one back the Friday before. The ENT's office asked me to call the surgical center instead to find out what the mix up was. I gave up and told her to cancel. I'm now getting phone calls from the auto-dialer to confirm the follow up appointments. They didn't call those appointments. There's no way to cancel through the auto-dialer. I call back and there's no one there to help with scheduling. I was told I need to call back to the auto dialer follow the prompts and cancel each follow up appointment individually. I was also told there's no supervisor to take feedback, nor is there anyway able to help with scheduling until I keep calling back.
