Floyd Ames Smith's Online Review Report Card

I had my mastectomy with Dr Smith 5 years ago. I’m in healthcare myself, so I knew I needed a knowledgeable, compassionate and supportive team and wasn’t afraid to shop around for the right fit, because this is a long journey. I had one main question I’d ask the surgeons when I talked with them and Dr Smith was the ONLY one that gave me the answer I wanted to hear, and not because he was feeding me BS, but because it was supported in the research. I live in Snohomish County but it’s worth the drive every year to get my follow-up care. He gave me hope. Received a letter today that he is moving out of the area…. I intend to stay with him as long as he is still practicing. Can’t imagine anyone replacing him.

Excellent, kind, compassionate and highly skilled doctor

Dr. Smith is the model physician, both caring and skilled. He makes you feel like you are his top priority and thoroughly explains things in terms you can understand. When you leave a message with his nurse, he is the one that returns the call. He has that “just in case” philosophy so you know he wants to give you the best care possible. He did the incisions in a way that would be the least disfiguring. Even my plastic surgeon raved at what an incredible job he did. I highly recommend him.

In my mind, I think that Dr. Smith is such a blessing to me... he never rushes, and makes sure I understand what is going on with me. He takes the time to listen, and cares about my Many Health Issues.

He's an amazing surgeon and a phenomenal doctor. He is caring and did a really great job making me feel comfortable with a surgery that I was incredibly nervous about. I would highly recommend him to everyone and his staff had nothing but kind words to say about him. He did a really great job getting me all fixed up and never hesitated to reach out to make sure I was healing up well and had all of my questions answered. It was a truly wonderful experience.

From the moment I met Dr. Smith following my diagnosis with breast cancer, I knew I was in excellent hands. Dr. Smith is extremely competent, concerned, and compassionate. During the first visit with my scientifically-based husband, Dr. Smith answered all our questions and concerns to the point we felt comfortable enough to schedule the surgery the very next week. Dr. Smith's approach is to ensure good margins around the surgical area while doing his utmost to preserve the breast in every respect (beauty, symmetry, etc.), which is what he achieved with me. Following surgery, he called me regularly to ensure I was doing well and responded personally to questions I had. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Smith to anyone undergoing breast cancer - you will be very glad to have him as your doctor.
