List of Henry Li's Reviews
Dr. Li led me through my treatment and recovery from stage 3 colon cancer. He was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and effective. Most importantly, he was thoughtful, caring, and helpful. He took the extra time to listen and answer all of my questions and was always available. He took my needs and input into consideration during treatment yet never veered from the recommendations he knew were right for my treatment. I owe my survival to Dr. Li
Dr Li has been there for me twice as I faced uncertainty in this life! Once in his treatment of pancreatic cancer and again when I had a mystery illness we thought was a cancer recurrence. He is so caring, in the greatest sense, and studies in depth the tests that are done, to make sure all aspects of a person's health are covered. He is brilliant...explains things in minute detail, and I have learned so much from him. During a long period of no one being able to determine my illness, he was not afraid to listen, to do research and he explored a possibility that turned out to be one that saved my life. He cares, he cared. I thank him every day!
My experience with Dr. Li has been wonderful. He is an excellent communicator and takes his time to answer all of your concerns and questions. He does not make you feel rushed and is a very optimistic doctor who in turn makes his patients feel optimistic. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable in his field. I trust him implicitly and would recommend him to anyone who is fighting a cancer battle.
Dr. Li is exceptionally devoted to his patients, as well as being a top-notch oncologist!
Smart doc. Fast talker, but takes time to answer questions. He managed my blood counts during a reproductive surgery (bleeding disorder). I wasn't expecting to see him during my stay at the hospital, but he made a point to come by a couple of times to check in on me. I thought it was very kind of him. Definitely would refer to him.
DR Li was my fathers Dr for 10 years. Which is significant since my father had MDS and outlived the averages. I attribute that to Dr Li and divine intervention. Dr Li is a very attentive Dr. He talks fast, and is very business like in his manner. To some that may not be a fit. However, medically he is top notch and will fight for his patients. At my fathers end, Dr Li drove to my fathers house, a 45 min drive one way, to check in and then say goodbye to my father. Not many Drs would do that.
Dr. Li is an expert in his field, but he is a very poor communicator. He speaks very fast, he always seems in a hurry to leave, he has a robotic bedside manner, and he cannot seem to even fake at being caring or compassionate. This obviously smart doctor's knowledge would, in my opinion, be better utilized in research, not clinical bedside work, as his interpersonal skills require serious remediation, based on my personal experience.
Excellent dr and very personable. Great staff!
Dr. Henry Li, at times, is too laidback to be an oncologist. He often treats his patient as if he were merely practicing family medicine and not dealing with an active beast in cancer. New symptoms might be dismissed as just the side effects of chemotherapy when in fact, they are signs of a major cancer progression. A proactive oncologist might respond with alertness of seeking immediate diagnostic testing to determine if the treatment needs to be changed. Instead, ride-it-out or wait-and-see is the preferred approach when time is acutely critical for cancer patients. And his time with the patient is inconsistent, with some visits unconstrained while others may be limited and cursory, depending on how overbooked his schedule is. He is respectful and approachable with the patient. Unfortunately, the former shortcoming would prompt me to recommend another oncologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
