This man tried to gaslight me into more meds and/or ablation. He said the exact words "atrial fibrillation rarely has triggers" to me, after originally telling me my AF is vagally mediated - completely dismissed any notion that getting digestive issues under control would help, as though I was crazy to think so. I am now AF free for months due to targeted dietary changes. I've even gotten rid of the near daily ectopics. Knowing the nature of AF, I'm sure it isn't gone for good, but I certainly didn't need surgery right now. I won't get further into it, but steer clear. There's better EPs out there certainly.

My experience with Dr. Swingle was horrific. He had me in tears with his threats re my "need for a stress test" and what would happen if I refused. Then, THREE TIMES he said, "Maybe I'm not the doctor for you." This was only my third visit with him. First visit was okay enough. Second visit, he "blew me off" re my colesterol count. He even referred to my crying and belittled me for it. At this point, I agreed he is not the doctor for me.
