List of Jae H. Sim's Reviews
If I could provide this physician with a 0, I would. Extremely arrogant, it was clear she did not review my chart prior to meeting with me as she made multiple false statements regarding my record, told me how I was managing, wrote false statements in my visit notes. Thankfully the false notes can be viewed as false due to the contradiction in previous visits. I highly recommend you find another provider. ...
I love the fact that she is extremely thorough, she also takes the time to listen to what you are saying. She has a calm, relaxed demeanour and is very professional.
Arrogant and unkind. Went into see her because my primary care physician was unavailable for some sort of an allergic reaction. She didn't even bother to look carefully and just ruled it as shingles. When I told her it's not painful, she just gave me a condescending response stating that's what it is and I should be on an antiviral med. Got a second opinion which ruled this out. Very unpleasant ...
My entire pregnancy I had a horrible neverending migraine. Dr.Sim told me it was my fault because of my obesity and also blamed it on me having nasal infections which she would put me on antibiotics for which I did not have. I would be sobbing at her in her office about the horrible pain and she would yell at me to toughen up that it would stop after the pregnancy was finished and to deal with it. 10 days after the birth of my son I underwent emergency brain surgery to remove a goose egg size tumor from the ventricle of my brain which almost killed me. This woman is cold distant and definitely does not CARE about her patients.
For my entire pregnancy I complained about a horrible neverending migraine to this woman. She would put me on antibiotics to treat nasal infections I didn't have. I would be crying to her and she would yell at me to toughen up and deal with it, that the pain would be over after my pregnancy. She also said it was because I was overweight. A week and a half after the birth of my son I was rushed into the ER of Swedish Seattle to undergo emergency brain surgery to remove a goose egg sized tumor from the ventricle of my brain. At that time they told me I had a 5 to 10% chance to survive which luckily I did and am now able to warn you to avoid this physician. She does not listen to her patients nor care about their opinions. She definitely does not care about how they FEEL.
Got stuck with Dr Sim because my PCP was not available. Not very good at listening at all and was completely lacking in bedside manner. Kept interrupting me while I was explaining my symptoms and just decided that I had one thing when I didn't. I've never come across such an arrogant, egotistical practitioner in my entire life.
She is very through thought full
I have been a patient for awhile, but thinking of changing. During appointments I feel rushed, a bit intimidated/scolded when I do get in to see her, although she is usually out of office anymore when I do call to make appointments. Perhaps I just need a change, but anticipate a difficult time finding a good, caring doctor these days.
Took the time to review last few blood test, very proactive with next steps for reducing BP, felt she listened and reacted to what was being said and not just put through robotic steps.
Ugh. I try to be a positive person, but I cannot be positive about this doctor. She is rude and, quite simply, bizarre. I do not trust her. Very strange doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
