Hands down, one of THE BEST surgeons in Seattle! Dr King listens and he cares. If you are willing to put in the work to get your body back to where it needs to be to compete, to engage in hobbies, or simply to tackle daily tasks he will get you there. I have been working with Dr King for a few years now and have grown to trust him like family. He has taken my condition seriously, striking the perfect mixture of conservatism and modern medicine. Dr King has been understanding and generous with his time, his resources, and his approach. I am so grateful to and for Dr. King, and refer him to anyone I know with joint trouble.

I can’t comment on the doctor but his office is a disaster. It took contacting six names and a month to finally schedule an operation, only to incidentally find out a couple weeks later that it was cancelled because the doctor would be tending to the Mariners during that time. How a medical organization can cancel an appointment without notifying the patient is beyond me.

Dr King provided immediate answers to a problem I have dealt with for two years. He was personable, concise, detailed and gave me a clear surgical path. The surgery skills are exceptional.I recommend him without hesitation. I am better post op four days, than I ever would have dreamed possible.

Dr King was great, even though I developed 2 infections and had to have 4 surgeries. I, however, thought his assistant was horrid. I have many tales to tell, but I felt like she was a block to get to Dr King. She was diagnosing, instead of asking Dr King, which I think is against the law. I stopped calling, because it was useless to try to reach my doctor. Her tone was always rude and patronizing. She even got mad at me, because no one was there to push my wheelchair and she had to be the one to get me in the exam room. I had both hips done, but wished I had gotten a different doctor because of his assistant.
