List of Jeanne M Olson's Reviews
Likely the most insensitive doctor I've ever met. She let's her political view get in the way of treating for pain. Twice I saw her for blood in my stool and to have her look at what I've now had diagnosed as morphea wrapping from my back to my stomach, and she insisted that it was a belt rub when it looked NOTHING like a belt rub. She didn't seem too concerned to know what it was, like I was simply inconveniencing her. To top it all off, in 2013 I nearly broke my back weightlifting. I didn't go to the doctor... went to a chiropractor and he pushed my hips back into place. Long story short, my back is severely damaged. The vertebrae are practically touching. I get debilitating sciatica, which left me bedridden for 3 weeks at one point. Comes and goes. Now after seven years I'm finally seeking pain relief, but she refuses to prescribe me pain meds because she's afraid to do her job. She thinks physical therapy or surgery are my only two options. The surgeon I spoke to is only offering injections, which are temporary and non FDA approved, not to mention fatal.... or surgery, which would leave me worse off after a year or so, according to the surgeon. So now this incompetent "doctor" who thinks people wear their belts around their ribcage refuses to prescribe me 5mg Vicodin even though she knows that I'm literally maxed out on Tylenol and Naproxen! She doesn't deserve to serve the public! She allows her bias to cloud her care for people who are suffering! I will be seeking legal council to see if there is any option of suing her for refusing to treat my pain. Being a doctor should be a calling, not about just getting an easy paycheck!
I stopped by at Highpoint Healtcare for an urgent care visit. Dr. Olson immediately earned my trust and respect with her knowledge, kindness and diligence. I had been looking for a primary care physician for a while and, all of a sudden, found the right doctor.
I don't understand the negative reviews. When she was my primary at Franciscan, she was kind, helpful, and good humored. I wish I could continue with her and wish her the best.
Very good doctor, she has always listened and taken care of all the issues that I am concerned about. My wife and I have had her since Dingocci retired and we are very happy to have her as our doctor
TERRIBLE doctor!!! She's rude, condescending, constantly interrupting never listening to what you have to say, so unbelievably disrespectful. She LAUGHED at me when I described my symptoms and mentioned the alternative medicine remedies I tried at home. I have never had such awful interactions with a doctor before. I've seen her multiple times and I will never submit myself to that again. I only went back this time because she was the only doctor available, but never again. HORRIFIC DOCTOR!
Dr Olson did not seem to be about actually helping me with my issues. She was condescending and at times, just plain rude. She all but accused me of faking my condition and refused to discuss any path of treatment except pushing me off to a neurologist (of which I've seen 2 in the past 6 mos) When I mentioned trying some alternative medications, she shut down. She did suggest massage but instead of seeing if insurance would cover it, she told me to "just work something out" with my family member
Dr Olson is a very sweet, down-to-earth, kind of gal. She knows her stuff, but will never give you that "holier-than-thou" crap some dr's have. She's very open to eastern philosophies in medicine and will make suggestions, not demands.
I have gone to Jeanne for several years for my annual. The few times when I've had a health concern and gone to see her I was not overly impressed with her ability to diagnose (once she gave me antibiotics for what turned out to be an allergy). The thing that clinches it for me is, when I call to make an appointment. Either the line is busy (really? in this day and age? yes!), or I have to wait on hold for a min. of 10 mins and up to 20 mins, or I get an answering machine with no option to leave a message because the office takes 1.5 hours for lunch and doesn't answer calls during that time. Plus, the office staff are unfriendly at best, and rude if you have any sort of question or problem at all and have to deal with them. It's just too much hassle to go through for a nice, but overall very mediocre doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
