Jessica Ivers's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Jessica Ivers is a really great pediatrician. My wife and I feel lucky to have her as our son's pediatrician.

Dr. Ivers have provided quality and invested care to our first born and twin follow ons. She's always made time to hear our concerns as well as check in with us as new parents. We trust her with our babes and have always appreciated her advice when things are just normal, developmental stages. Cannot recommend her more.

I actually waited awhile to write this review but while I was skimming through old my chart messages and appts the bad memory hit me and I thought I should share. Dr. Ivers did my sons circumcision because his normal pediatrician does not. The circ itself healed really well so I will say she knows how to do her job BUT the entirety of the appt that she wasn’t doing the procedure was focused on making me feel guilty for how I was feeding him. We had trouble with breastfeeding so we opted for formula but even so my son could only take little bits at a time this was something I stressed about day and night wondering if he was eating enough she made sure to emphasize that he was “just hungry” multiple times during the appt I went home and cried because she made me feel like I was starving my child when in reality he would only have as much as he needed, fast forward to seeing his normal pediatrician a week later and she told me his weight was on track and the amount he was feeding was COMPLETELY NORMAL. Part of being a doctor is having a good bed side manner and she lacks this and for a new mom with postpartum this was incredibly damming for me. Just thought it needed to be shared.

Dr Ivers is such a kind pediatrician. She spends more time to listen to us than most other doctors. Then, she makes time for random chats to build relationships each visit. Really appreciate her positive attitude.

Dr. Ivers is complete gem. She is attentive not only to my kids needs but to my husband and I's as new (now experienced) parents. She has been patient and celebratory with us, giving us advice when we need it and rooting us on in this adventure. We're so lucky to have her as our pediatrician.

Dr. Ivers is fantastic. She listens carefully to her patients. She is very diligent when working with family to find the right approach to treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Ivers.

I tried to transfer my son to her after our pediatrician left the Polyclinic. I had to cancel our first appointment, called and was told to come back next week. I arrived at the second appointment to find out that, not only was the appointment canceled, but the doctor refused to see my son because I had two “no shows”. That was surprising because I was standing in their office at the second appointment. They never told me when the second appointment that I missed was (because they made a mistake). Through a series of their mistakes they offered to have some other doctor see my son, then after speaking to Dr Ivers, rescinded the offer and left us in their waiting room saying that it was our fault and nobody in their office would see us. I’ve been with the Polyclinic for over 20 years and this is the first time I missed an appointment—during a pandemic. If their office can’t get this right, imagine if it was really important or if my son had a major health issue that needed immediate attention.

The office is organized, friendly, and runs on time in my experience. Great for same day sick patient appointments and every time we have had to see a different doctor in the practice it has been a great experience.

Dr. Ivers is great! She listens very closely, gives us time to ask all of our questions, and provides great answers. Our baby loves seeing her, and all of the office staff are great.
