List of Jorielle Bautista's Reviews
Competent, efficient and friendly, these are important traits describing dr. Bautista.
I made an appointment with Dr. Bautista about one year ago to get my IUD replaced. After the standard procedure of getting undressed and lying on the table, Dr. Bautista came back in the room. She was busy small talking about her family when all of a sudden she put the speculum into my vagina without warning. I was very jarred, and the insertion hurt. She continued talking about other things and I had to interrupt her to ask her to tell me what she was going to do before doing them. When she got my old IUD out, she was unable to get a new one in. She told me to get dressed and left the room. As I dressed myself, I noticed she had left the speculum, and several other pieces of now bloody medical equipment in the sink. Something about that didn't feel right. I felt sick to my stomach. As a survivor of sexual assault, this experience was very overwhelming for me. I plan never to see Dr. Bautista again.
Dr. Bautista and her assistant Mindy have gone above and beyond for me - I really appreciate both of them.
Patient of Dr. Bautista for many years. Easy to schedule. Office runs well. Staff is professional and friendly. No billing problems. She deals with me (a difficult patient) when other doctors are not so tolerant. I have a chronic condition that is not well understood and has no "cure" treatment. She has worked with me to find the best combination of medications and lifestyle changes to manage this. It allows me to function with minimal impact on quality of life. I deeply appreciate everything she does for me. I especially appreciate that as a PCP she is both knowledgeable and willing to take the lead on management of my condition, so I don't have to work with multiple specialists. What I especially appreciate is that I can use the word "PAIN" without being seen as doctor shopping for opioids. We both understand that opioids are not part of the management of my condition, so we can spend our time focused on what does work.
I began seeing Dr. Bautista when she first joined Dr. Rosen's group in Ballard. She rates 5 stars in my opinion. She listens, understands and treats my problems appropriately.
I'm glad I found a great female doctor within walking distance of my home. She's easy to talk to, listens to me, and is always on time with her appointments. I also like her nurses - they're very friendly.
I just finished school and had a doctor here. She retired from practice and I was sad to see her go. I have been looking for a permanent doctor here in Ballard. I was told I'd get one doctor and when I went to the office I got another. Dr Bautista is fine. However for my health I am not looking for fine I am looking for great. I felt rushed by Mindy because my paperwork wasn't completed. She is however very sweet and accommodating. I felt like the appointment was not well organized. Dr Bautista was good at asking questions but quick to draw conclusions. I would not encourage preventative care with her. I have back issues and am prescribed massage therapy or PT usually or back instructions for preventative care. I was instantly asked if I needed a prescription for shots or pills instead of my actual concerns. I had scheduled for a physical for that same appointment but they said their wasn't enough time for that. Also I asked for written instructions from her and never received them. The front desk is fine too. There seems to be a disconnect in communication. Mindy is great though!
I am sad to see some of the reviews that mention Dr. Bautista seeming rushed. While she can talk quickly, I have never felt rushed. As a matter of fact, quite the opposite! Both myself and my boyfriend have complicated medical histories and she has taken extensive time going over details with us, listening to our concerns, and planning next steps (in both our cases this has required multiple referrals and lab work and she has been great with listening to what lab work we wanted in addition to what she suggested as well as helped us find specialists that fit our needs). She has gone above and beyond for both of us and I am very thankful!
Oh yeah okay
I have to agree with the mediocre recommendations. I was looking for a new GP that would help me with preventative care as I move into my 40s. It seemed she had no idea what I was talking about, and didn't seem to understand why I was there. When I mentioned that she didn't seem to take my concern about joint pain seriously , she said- you can't expect me to solve arthritis. She was calm when I told her that I thought we were done with the visit, and thanked me for letting her know my concerns. I suppose if you have a very specific issue she could be great, but not for looking at the whole picture of care. I am not an arm or a leg, but a person.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
