Juan De La Ossa's Online Review Report Card

I strongly advise against recommending Dr. De La Ossa or his office location to anyone. Recently, my daughter went to see him for a biopsy of a swollen lymph node, which her doctor had recommended. This was already a stressful time for her, as she was worried about the possibility of cancer or other serious conditions. However, Dr. De La Ossa was extremely unpleasant and accused my daughter of scheduling the appointment without proper authorization, which was not true. He showed no empathy towards my daughter's concerns and was generally very unsympathetic. After the biopsy, my daughter's incision area swelled up to the size of an egg, and she called the contact number given to her by Polyclinic Broadway in case of any side effects. However, the receptionist who answered was extremely rude and questioned why my daughter was calling and how she got the phone number. The receptionist took my daughter's number and abruptly ended the call, saying that she would pass the message along to

He is a highly educated doctor that has excellent communication skills. He discusses everything that will happen before the procedure. If there are things that change during the procedure, he discusses those with you as well so you are part of the decision making process. He does his very best to make sure there is no pain during the general surgery procedure even though there is. Afterwards, he goes over the results. If biopsies are needed he does so and when the results come in, he contacts you and lets you know the results. He is the most caring, professional, educated, and dedicated doctor in his profession. He truly is the best general surgeon in the whole Pacific Northwest. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Hands down the best!!

I would have rated Dr. De La Ossa a perfect 10. Staff great and he takes up time with you making you feel very comfortable.

Dr. de la Ossa has been very easy to work with. He is approachable, knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr De La Ossa for a lipoma removal. During surgery, the doc discovered that I in fact had an incarcerated hernia. He was able to correct the problem in the same surgery session, left me with a very well-executed incision and my body healed very well (I'm really happy with the resulting change in my stomach profile). Dr De La Ossa is a really talented surgeon and smart/considerate guy - I'll put my trust in him again for the next surgery if the need arises.

Excellent surgeon. Dr. De La Ossa is a caring, compassionate man. I would highly recommend him. He has performed surgeries on both my husband and son.

This MD was very professional and thoughtful in planning my surgery. All avenues were covered and explained to me thoroughly. I am so "Thankful' for what you have done for me or to me. I feel like a brand new man. I would recommend you to anyone I know that is having this same problem.
