List of Katherine Brown's Reviews
Dr. Brown spend less than 5 minute listening before informing that she will be referring me to a specialist and she is retiring no explanation of the disease no sign of any care about patient. She should retire sooner if she has no interest in people health!
I really like Dr. Brown. She has been my primary doctor for the past few years; I like her style, she is direct but carrying and pay attention to concerns
Today was my first visit to see Dr. Katherine Brown but I was 3 mins late. After filling out the paperwork and waiting for another 20mins to be seen, the receptionist informed me that I had to be rescheduled because I was late. I understand the need for being on time but for 3mins??? I don't understand why I wasn't informed I had to be rescheduled when I first arrived, instead of making me wait for another 20mins. I decided to cancel my appointment and seek another primary care provider.
As mentioned in other reviews here, she was abrupt and rushed to conclusions without any communication. She basically said either I’m incurable or I should stop all medications I’m taking and let my symptoms be. I’ve never met any doctor like this. Avoid at all costs.
She makes physicians look bad. Most doctors are not like this. Just avoid this one.
Dr. Brown ignored the symptoms I stated (internal organ issue). I felt that she was jumping to conclusions too quickly without actual evidence or data. I ended up getting diagnosed with a condition that had she actually listened to my problems, would likely have gotten caught and treated much earlier. One last comment - going back to jumping to conclusions / making incorrect assumptions - she tried to convince me that I was morbidly obese (I'm 5'3", 145 lbs and active - not tiny but also NOT morbidly obese). She scoffed when I told her I was running but ramping up slowly to avoid reinjurying my knee. I believe the words she used was, "That's it? You're only running a few miles a week?" OK, doc. Thanks for the great medical take. She makes physicians look bad. Most doctors are not like this. Just avoid this one.
This doctor was very abrupt and rude when she saw me. I had various issues to discuss, and because she did not have them all listed on my chart, she was short and curt. Kept cutting me off and not listening to me. Worst of all, she touched the floor with her gloved hands and did some examinations without changing her gloves! Horrible experience, and she seems to be unapologetic about the entire situation. I will not be returning to the polyclinic and would not recommend this doctor to others. Doctors should be caring and empathetic, and above all, hygienic.
Fabulous doctor. Great care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
