Kathleen M. Kinney's Online Review Report Card

We've been going to the Dr. Kinney for ten years, ever since our daughter needed eye therapy. The entire staff is consistently helpful and caring, making getting our eyes checked every year a pleasure.

Dr Kinney was kind for my 7yr old son's eye exam, but her office lied to us about having full coverage for the appointment when scheduling and then AFTER the appointment came back with our insurance card and said we had to pay in full right then. We were told upon scheduling that they were in network with our insurance 100% coverage and our card was reviewed. At the appointment the receptionist took our card and did not say a word about any change in coverage. However, after the appointment was finished she told us that they actually would not accept our insurance eye plan and we had to pay the full amount. Beware! This office is either tricking patients into coming by not revealing the truth about coverage or is totally inept at billing. However, the receptionist was prepared with a form that she gave us for our eye coverage to self submit and see if we get any out of network coverage, so I conclude that they knew the whole time! It is a shameful trick to play on patients with full vision coverage for a child!

My husband and I have come to see Dr. Kinney for a number of years. We appreciate her thoroughness and both her and her staff are very affable and knowledgable, making one feel very comfortable before and after glass fittings etc.

Dr. Kinney is very experienced, kind, and supportive. Linde is also very knowledgeable and has great taste.

Dr Kathleen is an incredible doctor , she is very kind and professional and always takes time to listen . She is never in a hurry ! We have been going here for 7 years . My daughter did eye therapy here for two years and the staff is amazing ! Her vision has improved since doing the therapy ! Now I recommend Dr Kathleen to friends and family !!

Impressive tests to help me with what she diagnosed as NERVE PALSY. Can't wait to start therapy on a weekly basis. The Palsy affects my gait and double vision when looking far right and left. She sounds hopeful I am a good candidate for the therapy, so i am also.

Amazing, caring and professional. Absolutely love Dr Kinney and we have been seeing her for the past 3 years with our daughter. Love that she has vision therapists and cannot rave enough about Lauren. Fantastic place for pediatric eye care!

I have been recovering from a TBI for several years but it wasn't until I started vision therapy that I feel like I'm finally getting my life back! I was really nervous that it would be too much for my head but it hasn't been like that. I've been eased into everything and haven't had any issues to speak of. I highly recommend vision therapy here!

My family has been going to Dr Kinney for almost 20 years. She is wonderful! Both of my kids did Vision Therapy with her and had great results.

1 of the best eye doctors I have ever met! Very gentle, very careful, very thorough. Her staff are also very nice. The lady who put some eye drops in my eyes were very careful, and she waited until I felt ready to accept the next dose of medication by allowing me to take my time. She also explained how the equipment she was about to use worked on my eyes before she did anything with it to keep me at ease. The ladies who worked at the front desk as well as the lady who worked at the eyewear shop were also friendly and super helpful and efficient! 5 star doctor with 5 star staff, and they made my visit very pleasant. Highly recommended!
