Lily Stokely's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Stokely for four years now and she is amazing. Every time I go in, I am heard, validated, and feel extremely cared for. She has healed my relationship with my health and doctors where I felt distrustful and fearful from past experiences. I am incredibly grateful to have her on my care team.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Stokely for about 5 years and could not recommend her more. She is one of the most compassionate people you will ever meet, and honestly I wish she trained all doctors because more should be like her. She’s helped me navigate various chronic issues and helps you with a shame free, trauma informed lens. I’ve sent a few friends to see her (or other doctors at her practice), and every single person has had an amazing experience. I can honestly say that I am not sure where I would be with my health without Dr. Stokely, and I’m glad I don’t have to wonder. Thank you, Dr. Stokely!!

I've had stomach issues ever since I was a kid, and the most that I have gotten from a doctor is medicine to help with muscle spasms. I gave up gluten (which helped) in 2012, but then my stomach pain came back. My dietician recommended I see Dr. Lily, and now I see her all the time because she makes me feel so much better physically and psychologically!For the first time ever, I can genuinely say I don't feel like I constantly suffer from digestive issues. She also has done a lot of body work on me for my hip mobility and wrist pain. She looks at laboratory results from a whole rather than a checklist of "ok you're in a normal range move on". She does not weigh you or focus on the number on the scale because she practices Health at Every Size (HAES) and is extremely knowledgeable about it. She spoke to my wellness initiative at work, and people commented on how well-spoken and knowledgeable she is, as she has sources to back everything she says!Keep in mind this review is coming from someone who grew up in Georgia, where naturopaths "aren't a thing", and now I am a total believer. Thank you, Dr. Lily, for everything!

I've been seeing Dr. Lily for the past year, and she has absolutely changed my life. I hated going to the doctor, now I love it! Dr. Lily is holistic in her approach and genuinely cares about my well-being. She's not only concerned with my physical health, but also my emotional, mental, and spiritual health. I also appreciate that she's collaborative in her approach - there's no finger-wagging or "I know more than you!" Dr. Lily trusts my own insight and intuition, and uses that to provide the best care possible. Best of all, Dr. Lily operates from a health at every size and intuitive eating mindset. I don't have to be weighed (#1 reason I hate going to my PCP) and she's not concerned when my weight fluctuates (even though I am!) Thanks to Dr. Lily, I in a much better place in my relationship to food and body after years of disordered eating.

I was referred to Dr. Lily by my dietician after a year of fatigue and fevers, and not feeling heard by other medical providers in the community. Dr. Lily has been attune and earnest in listening and hearing me. Dr. Lily has made herself available to me in the midst of flares. She cares. Dr. Lily is also currently one of a handful of providers that treats from a HAES based practice as opposed to a weight-based practice. She sees more than my body size. She is compassionate to my needs as a patient, and as a human looking not only at my physical health, but all aspects of health. Dr. Lily is also an advocate for me in vetting other physicians/surgeons to ensure that I receive quality care when I am referred elsewhere. I could not have found a better provider to add to my team to walk alongside me in my health journey.
