Linda S. Mihaloy Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Mihalov was recommended to me for a hysterectomy to treat decades-long debilitating pain. She listened thoroughly and compassionately to all my opinions and concerns. During my pre-op appointments, she walked me through everything I could expect and more - she told me that during the surgery she would also remove any scarring that may cause me future pain. When I woke up, she let me know she'd done just that. I was on my feet the next day and back to work within two weeks. It's been almost two months and I'm pain free with no complications. I am so grateful for the care I received. I'm pretty certain Dr. Mihalov and her team have drastically improved my quality of life.

Probably one of the best doctors and definitely the best GYN I have ever had. Brilliant, highly competent, intuitive, and skilled surgeon on cutting edge equipment. I had to get 4 opinions before I could get help, and felt so comforting to know she had my situation under control. There's a reason she's been Top Docs Seattle for like 20 years running.

Dr. Mihalov is a wonderful provider. She is caring and listens to concerns while providing all the options available. I would highly recommend her and really can't say anything but great things about her as provider.

Best dr around

My normal dr was out for knee surgery so they said Linda was the cheif dr of the gyno department at Virginia mason. I had scheduled a Fallopian tube removal and a Hysteroscopy with Linda almost 5 years ago. She said surgery went well. But next day I was having issues. Myself and my friend were back and forth on phone with her and her staff. So I couple days later went back to see her. I knew something was wrong. She tries blaming my issues on an allergic reaction to iodine which I am not allergic to. With what was wrong at that time she should have known that my bladder was retaining urine. But she gave me a shot In my rear of pain meds and sent me back home. Well a few more days go by. And I have to go to er. I went to Swedish cause it was closer to where I live. When I got there they drained 7 liters of urine from my bladder and I was in kidney failure. They also found an injury to my ureter tube . Which is super important this tube carries urine to bladder from kidney. So there was urine and blood leaking into my body cavity for a little over a week. They said if I didn’t get to er then I would have been dead in a couple of hours. It took her 3-4 months to call me back and check on me. But she only did that cause she had caught wind of my trying to find an attorney to sue her. I was supposed to be able to go to invetro dr 2 months after that surgery happened. It’s been almost 5 years. She ruined my life. My bladder no longer functions and I have major chronic pain issues now and lots of specialists who I see all the time now. I would not recommend this dr to anybody. I think it’s time for her to retire. She’s isn’t caring of her patients at all. She ruined everything for me. And I am still going through process of healing. I will never be back to normal at all. Please don’t see her she almost killed me.

Good thing I did cause I was hours away from death. They said kidney failure and my bladder was drained of 7 liters of urine. Wow. Not to mention they found she had accidentally cut my Ureter tube. This is bad. Urine and blood was just leaking into my body cavity. Which is all bad. After Swedish saved my life it took her 3-4 months for her to call me and check on me. But only after she heard I was looking for an attorney to sue her. It was ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend her to anybody who wants to live. I think it's time she retires before she kills someone. I got lucky. Most people with the injury I had die. Like over 80% of people with the injury I had from her die. And the chances of this even happening is less then 1%. Of course just my luck. I only saw her because my normal dr was out in knee surgery. It's now almost 5 years later and still messed up and will be for life. She has ruined my life and chances of carrying a baby in my body. PleAse don't see this dr. Think it's time she retires honestly.

I do not have any major issues following breast cancer over a decade ago (I'm in my late 60ies ) so I can recommend Dr Mihalov for annual checkups. She spends time with me and answers all questions. I have several physicians at Virginia Mason and am satisfied with their care.

Dishonest

She's a very Bad doctor and should be disciplined.

I came to Dr. Mihalov at the recommendation of my primary care doctor, and I don't think I've ever had a doctor who I would recommend so highly and without any reservations. I came to her seeking a hysterectomy. I met with her twice to discuss options, and she respected my bodily autonomy when I told her that this was what I wanted when other doctors had turned me away due to my age. Within two months of meeting her, I underwent surgery, and I'm recovering beautifully. I've never been happier.
