Martha H. Ways's Online Review Report Card

I normally see another doctor in the PacMed system. My usual doctor was unavailable, and I was given an appointment with Dr. Ways. If Dr. Ways had been my first contact with PacMed, I would have never returned to the practice. Her bedside manner was atrociously bad. She appeared anxious and uncomfortable during my appointment; she knocked and barged in without waiting for a response, did not introduce herself clearly, she visibly looked uncomfortable discussing a medical complaint i brought up, and she made me feel that she did not want me as her patient (she complained about the paperwork she would have to do), and she was abrupt, rude, and visibly and audibly recoiled while performing the exam. Dr Ways' manner does not remotely hit the standard I expect from a primary care doctor.

Dr. Ways was able to quickly answer my health questions and allay my fears which have been ongoing for nearly a year now. My actual PCP was hesitant to go the extra mile and give me a definitive answer through a physical exam. Dr. Ways was happy to help me get to the bottom of my issue and I feel I can happily move on with my life now without worry! I appreciated her willingness to help me put my mind at ease. I trusted her judgment implicitly. Very competent and professional. Highly recommend.

Been seeing Dr. Ways for several years now and I am completely satisfied with my experience. She is professional and thorough, yet our conversations are casual and comfortable. She is very direct, I wouldn't want it any other way. I highly recommend her, she will work with you to guide and assist in the management of your overall health and well being.

I appreciate Dr Ways' straightforward manner. I moved from a doctor I had seen for many years and have recommended Dr Ways to several friends.

Do NOT see Dr. Martha Ways. My grandma was hit by a car as a pedestrian, and went to Dr. Ways (her physician she's gone to for years) to seek help during her recovery. I accompanied my grandma on one occasion, and was immediately put off by Dr. Ways' bedside manner. My grandma not being able to speak English very well (English is not her first language) was trying to explain the pain she was feeling, and where she was feeling it. Dr. Ways was extremely dismissive and belittling in response. Her attitude did not improve for the remainder of the check up. Thinking Dr. Ways might have had a bad day, I asked other members of my family who had interacted with her on previous occasions, all of them having the same impression of her as I did. To make matters worse, my grandma had consulted with Dr. Ways for the duration of her recovery process; Dr. Ways keeping records of her visits with my grandma, and her progress since the accident. These records were supposed to be validated by Dr. Ways in a court case with the insurance company, but at the last minute Dr. Ways left my family a voicemail saying she did not want to have anything to do with my grandma's case, and she would not talk about how the accident affected my grandma's physical, mental, emotional health. This court case being the only way my grandma could receive compensation for all the medical bills since the accident. Overall, if you're looking for a caring, and reliable doctor, you will not find that in Dr. Martha Ways.

Does not remember me or my medical issues from visit to visit. Looks up my symptoms online while I am in the office! I could do that at home. Needs to be reminded of which blood tests I have monitored due to prior acute illness or abnormal results in the past.

Dr. Ways is thorough and provides the time you need to discuss your concerns. She is direct, supportive, and offers specific guidance. I wouldn't want it any other way!

Dr Ways handles her patients with great skill. She has excellent diagnostic skills and an excellent referral facilitySometimes follow up is hard but the PMC system works well,She has had a great family perspective being a practitioner for my wife and son

I have had blood lab results which were alarming to me. She never called or wrote me regarding how to follow-up.

She has a very bad attitude. She think she is some body!
