Dr Mankey is amazing. He is so attentive and thorough. He is personally vested in success of every surgery he does. You can tell this by his follow ups. I had a bunionectomy performed by Dr Mankey last year. I don't think all surgeries like this are the same and mine was pretty severe. 3 separate cuts in the foot, basically breaking toes, shaving bone off, and screwing it back together. Mankey required a regimented follow-up Xray process to ensure healing was exactly as it should be. With each appointment he closely evaluated the XRays and provided changes in direction as necessary. This included no walking on it or exercise past the original plan because he saw something concerning in an XRay - which eventually healed. Now I am bunion-less and have been back to my regular running routine this year with no issues!

Dr. Mankey and his staff have been so wonderful. I tore my achilles tendon doing gymnastics. I was able to get an appointment and my surgery right away. The office was very nice and the surgery center was also great and didn’t feel cold like a regular hospital.Dr. Mankey answered all the questions I had before I even asked them. He was friendly and very professional. Surgery went well and I am now three weeks post-op.The man who did my cast was also fantastic and made me laugh and feel at ease.

Dr. Mankey is a gifted surgeon. 18 years ago he worked my feet, four surgical procedures at a time on each foot (one year apart). Now approaching 60 years old, my feet are the least of my concerns. - Aging & Athletic

Dr. Mankey has been wonderful in helping we recover from a complex ankle injury that included 3 fractures. He did not do the initial surgical repair but he did become involved in my care at a time when I was being given medical advice that significantly conflicted with what my body was telling me. Dr. Mankey got me on track to a good recovery and has done 2 subsequent surgeries. He is always focused on the orthopedic issue of concern, but he is also candid in his assessment, and caring. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Mankey and I am forever grateful to him for getting me through a difficult year, which is culminating in a good recovery. I'm also beholding to the friend who was a past patient and referred me to Dr. Mankey. His office is also great to work with.
