List of Melanie Clemenz's Reviews
She is AMAZING - thanks to her my skin disease is controlled and I don't suffer anymore! Thank you Dr. for your professionalism and for caring about your patients
The doctor took great care of my daughter. She recommended a non-steroid cream which worked better.
There are better dermatologist in Seattle. Unfortunately, it has taken me multiple visits to realize Dr. Clemenz is overconfident and under prepared when it comes to diagnosis and follow up. It was on my last visit that I realized she lacks professionalism and leans towards being completely disrespectful towards her patients.
I honor and respect other’s opinions but I just can’t imagine anyone having less than a five star interaction with Dr. Clemenz. I think she is wondeful. I am certainly aging faster than I ever thought possible and she has helped me immensely with issues that just suck as we get older. Brava, Dr. Clemenz, I will always be a fan!
My parents went to see Dr. Clemenz over a year ago, and they still talk to me about what a negative experience it was. I’m giving two stars because she did help get my dad a prescription he needed, but for my mom, Dr. Clemenz was over-confident, didn’t listen and gave the wrong advice. Despite pushback from my mother (who is a physician), Dr. clemenz misdiagnosed a rash on my mom’s ear, and gave her a topical cream which made it 10x worse. My mother was in terrible discomfort for weeks as the rash spread due to the cream, and has been unable to wear earrings or masks that go around her ears ever since (they make the rash flare up), because of the lasting effects of Dr. Clemenz’s misdiagnosis & treatment. Hopefully she is learning better listening and some additional humility in her practice.
Dr. Clemenz is the best! I would highly recommend her to anyone.
I had a good experience with Dr. Clemenz. I've had the same rash for the last year and saw a different doctor several months back and the treatment didn't work. After seeing Dr. Clemenz just two weeks ago, my rash is completely gone. What a relief! She and her staff were very courteous and I felt like I was heard.
Dr. Clemenz is the best. Her office staff is incredibly responsive. She gets my highest rating
Dr. Clemenz was not particularly helpful or kind during our interactions. She spoke down to me when I asked if the esthetician could see me that day and told me something like, “like me, she’s very busy and couldn’t possibly do a consultation today”. But, I’m busy, too and no one’s time is more important than anyone else’s. But, now I have to come back for a 10 minute consultation. Wouldn’t the better customer experience be to make sure someone was available for basic questions if you’re going to recommend those treatments? I wanted to know the cost, that’s it. Anyway, I found this interaction to be quite disappointing.
Oh my gosh, I was so nervous coming in for my annual full body skin exam. Of course, I'd heard how intimidating they can be, given that the doctor looks at your whole body. Unlike other dermatologist that require you to remove every shred of clothing and don a silly robe, Dr. Clemenz lets you leave your underpants on and dignity intact. Sure, her medical scribe comes into the screening with her but if Dr. Clemenz needs to look at something in a private area, she asks her scribe to step out so that the patient has privacy. That's a huge relief for me, being a fairly modest person. On to the important medical details. She is very thorough and carefully looks at all of your spots with a special looking glass and then tells you exactly what each spot is and why it's there. If she finds something, she takes care of it on the spot. She found a pre-cancerous spot on my shiny bald head and a couple of suspicious things elsewhere which she took a biopsy of. When it came to the one thing I was very seriously nervous about ( a suspicious looking thing in a private place ), I was very hesitant to ask her to look at it. She had no qualms about examining the area, telling me that it's skin no matter where it is. You could see my face light up, my blood pressure drop, and my pulse slow down when Dr. Clemenz reassured me cheerfully that the spot was nothing to worry about. Whew! Anyway, Dr. Clemenz is super and I highly recommend her. btw, I am male and there was no question about preserving my modesty. She totally got that males can be modest too.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
