I have been seeing Dr Brunsvold for maybe close to 20 years, as has my husband. Her bedside manner is comforting and she takes the time to listen. She really knows my issues and makes me feel like she really knows me and cares. I feel safe in her care and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a general practitioner. She's a jewel and her kind of doctoring is a lost art.

I've been seeing Dr. Brunsvold since 1998. She has made a positive impact on my life by steadily advocating for healthy lifestyle choices, recommending excellent specialists, and by urgently prioritizing care in emergencies. She explains medical conditions very clearly and is a down-to-earth nice person.

I saw Dr. Brunsvold for many years and was overall satisfied. However, recently I went to see her because I noticed some specific weight gain in areas I hadn't experienced before and chronic heartburn. She told me that I needed to see a nutrition counselor and lose weight. I have overall healthy eating habits and work out 5-6 times per week, so it didn't make sense to me that I would have this type of weight gain or chronic heartburn. I got a second opinion and discovered that I have the worst case of h.pylori she had EVER seen in her entire career. In addition, she dug a little deeper and discovered that my thyroid is very very low functioning. With some appropriate treatment, I'm on the road to recovery. I'm beyond disappointed that Dr. Brusvold chalked my symptoms up to being overweight. It was an easy "diagnosis" and it was wrong and has severely impacted my health and well being. I would not recommend this physician.

Dr. Brunsvold is very patient and pleasant. I never feel rushed when I go to see her. Because they are trying to go paperless she and her staff do spend some time looking at the laptop screen but that's to be expected. I want them to enter the information accurately but it does take away from the quality eye contact. Overall I would highly recommend her. Also, her staff is very nice and helpful in person and over the phone.

I have been seeing Dr. Brunsvold for 15 years. She has a broad range of knowledge which has allowed her to treat me for numerous health issues over the years. She has always given me referrals when needed, with a number of Drs. to choose from. Dr. Brunsvold takes very good care of her patients; listens, is non-judgmental and works with you, giving you suggestions and options in order to find the best treatment for you. Highly recommend!
