I had the pleasure of being his patient so time ago and i'm and his reversion surgery gave me new life after suffering for so many years and not to mention a botched replacement. thank you so much and i see i will have to visit seattle to be in qualified hands for any future needs. yes, i have and will recommend anyone who needs a replacement, now i know where to send them!

Omg! Yes!! I have seen 100s of specialist and I tell you, can't go wrong with Dr Manner. He has amazing bed side manners which means alot to me. He also Never rushes our appointments and answers my questions where I understand! I seriously can't THANK this man enough for the help he has givin my poor R knee. I had a knee Replacement x2 4 years ago. Well it got infected. What a nightmare. Soo painful. I'm on my 2nd surgery now infection is healing and I can't speak enough of Dr. Manner helping me.

Thrilled with the care I have and continue to receive from Dr Manner and his PA Peter Hall. He gave me a shiny new custom 3D printed Conformis knee (100% custom made to match my exact anatomy). on Dec. 3rd and this recovery has been easier than the ACL reconstruction I had in my 20’s (now 48). I’m 40 days post op and doing great...I highly recommend anyone with a knee replacement in their future to make an appointment with him, not only for his excellent care but because he is only one of a few surgeons in WA using the Conformis knee...after all of the research I did on it I don’t understand why someone would want anything other than a knee that is made specifically for them.

Doctor Paul Manor botched a hip replacement on me. He used the wrong part, broke my thigh bone and my legs were uneven (one shorter than the other). Obviously, I had to have it redone......by someone else. Afterwards, I contacted the NW Hospital risk/legal department and after many letters and sending in documentations of out of pocket costs, living expenses, lost pay, they said they would act accountable and pay up. I should have sued them for malpractice. Two months went by, so I called the risk management individual who was attending to my case and he said, the compensation check would be mailed out before the end of the month. THEN, at the beginning of the following month he said NO sorry they have decided against it! I have no words, other than DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL OR THIS DOC. Dr. Manner gave me back a life.Replaced my left hip in 2006 & right in 2009. He set me up with UW physical therapy & I still do the exercises they taught me. Months after my 1st hip replacement I couldn’t figure out why I kept setting off a metal detector at a courthouse. The guards & I all laughed when I finally remembered I had a metal hip. I had totally forgotten—even after walking up a flight of granite steps to the entrance of the federal courthouse. In my 70s now & they're still wonderful

He is the best. Dr. Manner gave me back a life.He replaced both my hips (three years apart- the first one in 2006 and I am writing this in 2019) and set me up with UW physical therapy afterwards. I still do the exercises they taught me. I pretty much forget I’ve had my hips replaced until I have to go through a scanner. Everyone else I know of who has had their hips replaced — all by different surgeons —says the replacements are better than the original hips they replaced, but they still have problems. Mine are so trouble-free that just months after my first hip replacement I couldn’t figure out why I kept setting off a metal detector at a courthouse. The guards and I couldn’t find any metal on me. I had two hip replacement surgeries performed by Dr Manner. both had infections which required antibiotics and one of infections I was hospitalized for 3 days in the ICU . I was told by Dr Manner that" I had no f*****g hip infection" who says that to their patients . also " If I could I would take my hardware out of u" I was floored by his comments, still in disbelief thats the honest truth .Why ?????

Dr. Manner is a Ego-manic who doesn't think any of patients could every have a compilation or infection from his work. I have had two total hip replacement surgery performed by him this year. Both had infections which he denied me having . Stating to me "That there is no Fuc*ing infection in my hip" after going to the ER and spending 3 days in I.C.U and requiring a surgery to drain it. He tried to say that after another hospital went in on top of his work that it was "probably fuc*ing infected now and they can take care of any kind of complications and that "If I could I would take my hardware out you" who says that to a patient or person. I was left in total shock. Like he owned the my hip proshethis. I plan on filing a formal complient.What an Ego-manic, I am not saying he a very skilled surgeon but come on who treats people like that Really!

Dr. Manner replaced both my knees six months apart. Both knees healed as he told me they would. After 1 year I was having some issues so I went to my PCP and she sent me to a local orthopedist, he took xrays and said everything is healed perfectly and that the issue I was having must be soft tissue. I was later diagnosed with fibromyalgia which would explain the pain I am having. Dr. Manner and his staff were very nice and explained everything to me in a way that could be understood. I WOULD and have recommended Dr. Manner to friends and family.

Dr. Manner was my choice for a hip replacement. He came highly recommended by three health professionals I know well. First impression of him and his PA was that they were efficient and aware of what needed to be done. Surgery was as expected. Then a couple of months later the hip unexpectedly dislocated. No fall. No trauma, it just popped out. To shorten this note, 3 dislocations later along with other interventions, a second more involved revision was done. What is important for me to communicate here is that from the first dislocation to the 2nd surgery the notes written after each visit were incorrect. They were boiler plate and my situation required different handling. More than once I pointed out that what was written in the notes didn't occur at the visit. They weren't true records. The doctor was quick to put the responsibility on me until I showed him a print out of the note. And yet going forward he and his PA were impatient with my questions. The communication between Dr. Manner and his PA was poor. Their ability to stay abreast of my case was shockingly bad. One example of this was after the first dislocation was taken care of in the ER I had an appointment to see the Dr. Assuming I'd get some help making sure this would be the last time I'd be in the situation, I was interested to hear the next best steps for this case. I didn't see Dr.Manner that day I saw the PA that day. He was unprepared as he didn't even know I'd had a dislocation. His response was, "Really?" He was embarrassed. He had no information to offer and quickly ushered my husband and me out of the exam room. We were stunned. Last important point on communication is that this doctor is hard to reach. His staff works hard but they don't have the tools they need to phone conference. I had need to be in touch with them. When I did get through they didn't know anything about my case, nor could they pull up my record! Often I couldn't get through at all. Often I didn't receive a call back for days. Ecare was useless. When I asked about this I was told it was a system error. When asked how we could work around this they basically said that there was nothing they could do. Really? That is unacceptable. The sheer disinterest in caring for a patient was appalling. I have osteoarthritis in my other hip now. I will eventually need a replacement and have begun to research surgeons. I will not return to Dr. Manner. I don't recommend him .
