WARNING. Do not get a colonoscopy of you have a weak pelvic floor. I specifically asked both Headstrom and her team in advance if there is higher risk - they all seemed too busy to take the time to even acknowledge my question. Dismissive doctor. Within the first few minutes she made up a diagnosis (a wrong one) and was no longer interested in finding out what was wrong. It was obvious she didn't care.

I'm a huge fan of Dr. Headstrom. I've seen her for two colonoscopies (2015 and this year) and can't say enough good things about her. Very personable, knowledgeable, and answered every question I had. The rest of the staff at Polyclinic was also really great.

Dr. Headstrom is very knowledgeable and she is a great diagnostician. She is straightforward and communicates clearly about my condition and my treatment options. She is not a touchy-feely doctor, but she is professional and caring and I am happy that she is my physician.

I recently turned 50 and with that milestone comes a preventive colonoscopy screening. I had heard horrible things about the prep prior, yet it wasn't as terrible as I had anticipated. The people I spoke with at the front desk gave me great tips on what I could eat/drink and how to basically stay sane through the process. I checked in on time, staff was super friendly and had the first appointment after lunch. Dr. Headstrom has great bedside manner and answered all of my questions. The procedure went smoothly, there was absolutely no pain and I was not aware of anything even happening until I woke up. The entire process was so much better than I had anticipated.

Dr. Headstrom is rude and uncaring. She is a poor listener and communicator. She felt inconvenienced to be called on a Saturday when she was the doctor on-call and berated her patient for calling. I would highly recommend you cease care with this physician as she is indifferent to the patient and uncaring.
