On my first appointment was an emergency appointment after years with a superb Dr. Wegley, who retired, I found Dr. Guturu to be very caring personally as well as an excellent professional who communicated clearly with me. I am very grateful and pleased with his care and response.

Dr. Guturu was fantastic. It was my first visit with him and he did a wonderful job of explaining my condition and treatment options if necessary. Turned out I did not need treatment because I was asymptomatic which made the visit that much better.

Visiting a gastroenterologist is probably never pleasant, but Dr. Guturu made me feel informed and comfortable during my visit. He is very professional and took the time to explain everything and all options thoroughly, and answer my questions.

Wow! I don’t know who these other reviewers were seeing, but as for clarity, talking to you as an equal, going into thorough detail and allaying concerns Dr. Guturu is one of the best. Practical approach too. Wish I could clone him into other disciplines.

Dr. Guturu kept on telling me that I would be in a better place if I had a different medical condition. He spent very little time on my actual issue, but harped on a better outcome if my issue was different. When he explained things to me, I expressed what I knew with my research because he kept on telling me what I already knew. He was condescending and made me feel helpless leaving the visit. If only I had the other medical issue and a different doctor!

I have had a bad experience with Dr. Guturu. I believe he must've had a bad day or he didn't know what he was doing. I am going to see another doctor to see what I have wrong with me. Ever since I went to Dr. Guturu I've had problems.
