Dr Burns is amazing!! She diagnosed 2 topical medication allergies just because she asked why I was wearing a bandaid on my shin. Above and beyond.

Had an appointment scheduled for 8am. I got a call as I was pulling into the parking lot at 8:05 that they were refusing to see me because I was late. At this point I was in the building at 8:07 and they still refused to see me. I was not told to be there 10 minutes early and drove 2 hours on a painful foot for this appointment. Now I will likely lose function of the joint in my toe because I have an infection that is not responding to antibiotics (which I communicated to the staff). Never using polyclinic again if this is how they treat their patients.

Dr Burns is the 3rd podiatrist I’ve seen in 2.5 years and the 1st to actually treat the problem vs the symptoms. She is also the 1st to look at me and listen vs talk to a scribe or type away furiously. She always comes to our appointments prepared and remembers previous appointments. Highly recommend.

Dr. Burns has been treating me for an ongoing foot issue and I have had very successful ankle surgery with her as well. She is upfront and honest about recovery and presents all considerations for me to make the best decisions. She does not push expensive insoles, which all my previous podiatrists have with very minimal effectiveness. I like her approach and have a lot of trust in. her. - highly recommend,.

Dr Burns was he third podiatrist that I have seen and was the first to do things that were actually helpful. She is also very pleasant.

Dr. Burns is incredible! I have been seeing her now for 2 years and she has been attentive, polite and knowledgeable at every visit. I trust her with my health.

I did not feel that Dr. Burns paid attention to my explanation of my issues, and followed on with a poor diagnosis and truly lackadaisical treatment. I explained that I had issues due to footwear fit in most footwear throughout my life. Without having me stand or otherwise observing what goes on when my feet are in use, she flatly attributed my issues to weight distribution on my feet, ignoring the other factors. She prescribed hand-modified insoles, went off to make them, and then had her assistant come in and put them in my shoes and send me off, without having measured my feet beforehand or checked that the extra support was under rather than just near certain joints that it was supposed to be affecting. I will not be returning and will advise my family doctor that his podiatrist referral ended up being a complete waste of time.

On my first visit, Dr. Burns told me she had read my chart from another doctor I had seen and without even examining me, she concurred with the first doctor's diagnosis. She was not interested in anything I had to say. She had already made her diagnosis before she even met me. Terrible experience.

Not happy with her diagnosis of my foot injury as when I asked for an explanation for her current concerns she replied “it’s just your bad luck”. Not a very reasonable or professional explanation when I asked for one.
