2 for 2 with Dr Toomey and his wonderful team, JC MacDonald-PA and Rachel.-MA. I recommend them without hesitation. I have 2 new hips by Dr Toomey within 5 years, both done with the MAKO Robotic Arm. I could not be more pleased with the outcome and the whole process, start to finish. I just had my final post-op recheck and I am pain free and have my mobility back, walking, bike riding and pilates. I am a fan of the robotic surgery and would not hesitate to recommend it. Any questions or issues I had throughout any part of the process were handled expeditiously and thoroughly. On top of great surgical skill, Dr Toomey and his team are just such nice people and great to deal with. I am forever grateful to them for giving my mobility back.

Dr Toomey replaced my hip 2 years ago. After faithfully doing daily recommended exercises, physical therapy and a cortisone injection, I am still left with nerve damage the size of my hand, have sudden sharp pains in my hip and cannot sleep on my right side due to pain. He also is arrogant and has poor bedside manner. I chose Swedish because of their great reputation so was therefore willing to make the long drive to surgery and appointments in winter weather. The hospital, his assistant John McDonald, the anesthesiologist and all the nurses were excellent. I regret my physician choice only and would not recommend him.

Dr. Toomey performed a conversion of a partial replacement to a full replacement of my right knee in early March. He was understanding regarding my anxiety and was very professional as well as kind and compassionate. He is an excellent surgeon. I highly recommend him and his team.

Incredible team and so glad I didn’t wait any longer! Sean explained the process in detail and I’m very pleased with the results so far. Walking and back to the gym after a month. My gait is now straight.
