I was referred to Dr. Menda for cataract surgery. Scheduling was easy, assessment very thorough, and the time and level of detail she had for me regarding my options was impressive. Surgeries were quick and easy. Follow ups went without a hitch. Dr. Menda goes beyond in making sure she's explained everything and always inquires about and has time for questions and concerns. If I had second set of eyes, I definitely entrust them to Dr. Menda. And besides being a fabulous physician, she's got a great vibe! I very much enjoyed working together with her and am sure you will too.

Dr. Menda performed my cataract surgery. She took the time to help me decide where the main focus of my eyes should be post-surgery. This is a far cry from my friends' experiences whose doctors did not explain the importance of this decision or who didn't give them the choice at all. I am very happy with my decision and it is not the one I would have made without the conversation with Dr. Menda. I will continue to seek her out for my ongoing eye care. She really is committed to my eye health!

Both cataracts replaced with excellent results. Dr. Menda judged the lenses beautifully, a challenge because of astigmatism. The staff at the clinic and the surgery are professional and friendly.

I'm a glaucoma patient and she seemed passive and disinterested with me. "Wait and see" was her strategy. When you're in danger of going blind I don't think that's a very good strategy to follow, especially because damage to the optical nerve can not be reversed. I needed someone more aggressive and willing to spend more time on "my case". She was otherwise nice and polite. But what's really upsetting for me, and she has nothing to do with it, was that I never managed to get my records so I can give it a new doctor. I faxed and called and faxed and called and they just did not bother to give me my records. I've payed for all my visits, and scans and nerve photos, and they just refused to give me my records. So cruel.

Excellent doctor with a great staff!

Awful experience. I had an eyelid inflammation which called chalazion, it was very obvious. She did unneccessary eye exam, and finally said “Oh it will be gone itself after few weeks.” no prescription, nothing. And my symtom’s getting worse, I visited her again, she transfered me to an eye plastic surgeon..! For these two visiting she costs me $550 to my insurance. Lol. I didn’t go to the doc she connected me, I lost kinda trust on her, I found another ophthalmalogy myself. He said “Nah, you dont need a surgery for this, it is already in healing process. your eye is irratated now since it is closing.” he simply cut the dead flesh right away. Now I am good. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOC at all.

Dr Menda provided me with excellent care. She explained the risks versus benefits of my procedure very clearly unlike my previous eye doctor. She seems to me very honest and not rushed in her care. The results of my glaucoma surgery so far have been smooth sailing. I will definitely refer my friends with glaucoma to her.

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Menda. Even though it seemed like a very busy clinic, she took the time to explain my treatment options and at no time did it feel rushed. I would recommend Dr. Menda to my friends and family moving forward.

Dr. Menda was thorough, thoughtful and empathetic. She answered all my questions about my procedure and provided caring follow-up. I hope to avoid any further procedures, but if they are necessary, I would feel confident in her hands again.
