Dr. Counter explained my situation very well. I was able to schedule surgery with him. He personally called me the day after surgery. I found Dr. Counter a very professional and an expert in his field.

Dr. Steven Counter did my hernia surgery approximately 7 years ago and I have been in pain ever since. I have had 2 additional surgery's since that have provided little relief. The cause of all this is because of the "unbelievable" amount of scar tissue from a very poor surgery. The scar tissue has "pushed other organs" out of place and required 2 surgeons on a attempted repair. I will probably be in pain the rest of my life from his sloppy surgery. I would not reccomend him to do surgery on a gerbil. If I could I would give him negative stars !

Had hem. surgery. Dr. Counter and his staff were wonderful. So glad I had the surgery. Very pleased with the result.

Dr. Counter did a fantastic job explaining and I felt confidence in his team and approach. The surgery and recovery went well. He explained things well, has extensive experience and I strongly recommend him.

Who isn&#39;t nervous going into surgery? I was lucky to have had Dr Counter as my surgeon. I had complete trust in him. Nice guy, easy to talk to, good sense of humor<br>and stellar reputation. Good listener &amp; educator. What a difference it made to have a doc who was such a pleasure to work with.

Dr. Counter was recommended to me for Hernia evaluation and possible Laparoscopic surgery. I was very impressed with his evaluation and recommendation for the surgery. He explained everything in detail, listened to me and asked pertinent questions as well as examining the area. He played it safe (which I appreciated) by requesting that I get an okay from my urologist due to some prostrate issues. He also wanted me to have an EKG right then to check on my A-Fib. What this told me was that he was very thorough and did not take unnecessary risks. He was very personable during the initial evaluation, during surgery and post operative care. He made me feel important and just not another dollar donor. I would recommend Dr. Counter without any reservations.
