List of Swedish Medical Group's Reviews
Horrible customer service. Takes about 40 minutes to get through someone in the front office. There are layers of hierarchy here. The front office doesn't want to help you and do not want to connect you to the doctor's team or the doctor. They recommend reaching out to the doctor's team. But with just one contact number for this practice, there's no way you can ever directly get through to the doctor.Messages on MyChart are seen but never replied to. In the midst of the pandemic, they haven't shared my test result for 6 days (and counting). How are they not accomplices in letting covid spread in this country?Once I get past this, I swear to never return to this practice or any other Swedish facility.
Avoid this place at all cost. Those "professionals" will make your life miserable. And Never Ever touch the Sub.
I like everything about this place except for scheduling. I should NOT have to wait 38 minutes on hold to schedule an appointment!
Long wait times in exam rooms. Doctors that are condescending. Doctors that make assumptions and are not current on medical studies. Doctors that push pills and call every patient crazy. I am never going back and hope if you're reading this you will never go.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kitty for a few years. His staff is incompetent and rude; their entire staff, including Dr. Kitty Kaibooriboone do not know how to use Epic which is connected to MyChart and after 4 calls trying to get assistance and failing to resolve the issue due to them not understanding how to to their job. In retaliation, they have become upset with me and fired me as an epileptic patient during the Coronavirus and if I get a fever, there is a high risk of seizure activity and death. All because some administrative personnel doesn't care about their patients. They are bullies!!!
I had a circumcision appointment for my son with these people last year. I knew I had to pay out of pocket for the procedure and came prepared. When the procedure was complete, I was made another appointment. They said I have to return a week later to make sure everything looks good. Little did I know, this was an optional, totally different appointment and an additional cost. They made it seem as if the follow up was apart of the first visit. I ended up moving and didn’t get a bill and no one called. I only found out about this bill’s existence because I check my credit report often. The woman I spoke with on the phone by name Amy spoke to me in a condescending tone and said there’s nobody else I can talk to about this. I explained to her time and again, this was not presented to me as an option. They failed to inform me that they were going to bill me or what I should expect to pay for this second visit and the fact that it was optional. The woman on the phone (Amy) should learn a thing or two about empathy and how to talk to people. The least she could have done was admit that the Swedish hospital and their staff dropped the ball on their end for misleading and not fully informing meOf my options. Of course I’ll settle bill because I take pride in mainting a good credit and not owing anyone but come on Swedish Seattle central clinic, transparency is important. Stop taking advantage of people. You need to make it clear to patients what you are charging them. I regret coming there for care. This whole experience feels like i got scammed by a shady car salemsman! I’ll be sure to tell everyone to be wary of these people.
Very negative non welcoming experience !! I've been a patient for years they are slowly but surely going down hill. Receptionists are extremely rude over the phone someone should be reviewing the tapes since the are "monitored and recorded" . After my last encounter ive decided to remove myself and daughter from this clinic . I called one morning for a same day appointment for my daughter who had a rash on her neck I was concerned about, I described as eczema really rough black rash. So they made the appointment & about 15 mins later the called back stating in case it chicken pox don't come in call when outside. Ok , that's fine I work at a medical clinic that's normal procedure . But what pissed me off was the two extremely rude females that called after that stating the same thing in a really rude way. I remember comments such as "we don't want her in the building at all " "shes really contagious and can affect everyone here" made me feel like I called for an animal not a human . There is a certain tone and choice of words you use when speaking to a parent about their child. And I never said she had chicken pox or symptoms I knew it was eczema. And when we got there the nurse knew as soon as she looked at my daughter. We won't be back and I plan to complain to a higher authority.
I wanted to become a new patient at this clinic, and the receptionist was really nice, until she found out that I was on State assistance. Then she became really rude to me. She ruined me to Swedish all together! I'll go to U. W. Medical now.
Swedish medical once again exhibits another questionable behavior after their neurosurgery scandal by falsely advertising physician who are not board certified as certified.
Monica Mayhill performed circumcision for my son. It was the worst possible circumcision and my son needs to see an urologist to fix the problem she caused.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
