List of Swedish Medical Group's Reviews
We followed Dr. Amye Hadley from her previous location and she is fantastic! We've seen April Rodriguez when Dr. Hadley wasn't available, and she is also wonderful! Finding health care providers who are not only excellent at what they do but also caring is pure gold! ...But, some of the admin staff have been so consistently horrible over the years that I not only dread every interaction, but have agonized about it to the point where finding new PCPs feels like the best option at time. Honestly, their thinly veiled hostility has made me feel unsafe. When the people responsible for handling your private, personal information (credit cards, date of birth, medical conditions, etc.) - the people who act as the gatekeepers of whether you will or will not receive the healthcare you need - behave in a way that is passive aggressive and oddly defensive (e.g. when, while needing assistance with a clinic error, they automatically feel the need to aggressively campaign against some perceived personal attack), there is an uncomfortable imbalance of power that makes you feel vulnerable when you really just need a helping hand. My concerns have been with phone admin, only, but I am disheartened to see another bad review that lists poor experience with front desk staff.Edit/Update 7/15/2021: Woof! I recently experienced some of that first-hand rudeness from the front desk. Impatience when I was using the temperature reader, immediate annoyance and disrespect when unable to understand patients' names, followed by her curt manner (all while the waiting room was quite empty) was very disheartening.
The staff is extremely friendly and I love the doctors that I have seen there. I've been going for almost 4 years and continuously have good experiences. Not changing doctors ever!
Convenient location; especially for Magnolia residents. I have been seen here twice; the first time was as a new patient; both times involved a problem that was urgent but not urgent enough for an ER visit. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get in the next day on both occasions. Call takers were courteous, welcoming and efficient. Same can be said for the front desk employees who were very helpful as I stumbled through the new patient process. Medical assistants led me back to a patient room where they assisted me to finish up the process. On both visits, I found them to be warm, friendly, patient and helpful. I was seen by different doctors on both visits; I found both to be patient, warm, welcoming and thorough and I was immediately comfortable with both. I really appreciate that, in the event I would need a referral, employees verify my insurance will be accepted before giving the referral. The clinic is clean and very well maintained. Any instructions regarding COVID are clearly posted. Parking available right out front or on nearby street. Great experience and I’m very happy to have found this clinic. Would definitely recommend them.
Dr and medical assistant were very nice, but front people were very terrible except one guy who took care of me. I visited here 2/4/2021 2:45pm, and two front women made fun of me. I did not know how to use temperature kiosk, and one lady told me that I needed to place my forehead in front of the machine 2 to 4 inches away. After that, two ladies were laughing at me. One rude lady said to another, "You cannot understand sign (There was a sign next to kiosk how to check temperature )? Do I need to read English for you? Hahahahaha". I did not feel comfortable their conversation. My experience was totally unacceptable, and they were lack of professional and ethical behaviors.
This is the best clinic in Seattle. Front desk is awesome and my new doctor April Rodriguez has helped me so much in a short period of time.
I have had absolutely NO bad experiences here. Everyone has been helpful and kind. I LOVE Doctor Mohr, who is my primary physician. She is very attuned to patient's medical issues, provides solutions & advice and is calm even when I'm not (which, of course, calms my down). She gives you her complete attention. She has gotten me through many medical issues and I trust her completely. I probably shouldn't "advertise" her great qualities because her schedule might get bogged down (maybe a positive for her, but a negative for me). Lol.
Just as others have posted and experiend before me -very rude front desk, came in for an appointment on the time given at scheduling and they cancelled the appointment on the spot: " you are late - you were suposse to be here 30 min ago". Now am I to blame for arriving at the scheulde time? But also makes one wonder how important patient care actually is to these providers if they cancel appointments because they can't handle 5 min worth of paperwork! Would not recommed as patient care is definetly not this providers forte!! Neither is customer service unfortunatly looking at the unprofessional treatment from the fron desk!
I’ve had a great experience bringing my whole family to Swedish Magnolia for the past 8 years. I’ve seen many of the Doctors there, who have all been helpful and knowledgeable.
Dr Mohr is the only reason I come here. She is a good fit for me because she listens and understands women are a whole picture. The desk staff can make this office in this really nice neighborhood sometimes feel like a low cost clinic the way they speak to and about patients. The medical staff assisting is hit or miss as far as bedside manor. My partner had a very negative experience with another provider here. I would not come here if not for Dr. Mohr.
My family goes to the Swedish clinic in Magnolia. We have for years. My mother-in-law, who is 71, doesn’t care for the male doctor she’s been seen by in the past, Dr. Magnuson, so when she called today to make an appointment she asked to be seen by Dr. Mohr, a woman. Dr. Mohr wasn't available so my mother-in-law asked to be scheduled with any other provider. The scheduler told my mother-in-law that she would have to see if she could get that approved. The scheduler called my mother-in-law back today and told her that the change in doctor was not approved. My mother-in-law said that it should be her own decision what medical provider she saw and asked who in that office had made the decision. The scheduler said that Dr. Magnuson, the male doctor who my mother-in-law is NOT comfortable with, made the decision. My mother-in-law said that was unacceptable that this male doctor who she is not comfortable seeing would be able to make this decision for her. The scheduler told her that she would need to speak with the clinic supervisor if she disagreed with the decision. My mother-in-law called the clinic supervisor, Kathleen, and this woman told my mother-in-law should find another clinic if she didn't want to be seen by Dr. Magnuson. Even offered to give her the contact info for different clinics. It is NOT okay for a male doctor to force a senior woman to see only him or blacklist her from seeing any provider? I have seen Dr. Yuskaitis for years but I will cancel that relationship over this. I will not support a business that forces a senior woman to seek medical care in a new clinic, somewhere unfamiliar that she would have to drive to, because she stood up for what she wanted and asked to be seen by another doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
