First and foremost I have had and have a lot of doctors for a lot of my medical issues and by far Dr.John Stevens here is the best doctor I have ever had. To be completely honest I would trust my life with Dr. Stevens. I pretty much already do with all of my health problems he has been along this long journey I have had since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis along side my neurologist and my back, pain, fibromyalgia, diabetes... to just name a few. He is by far the most compassionate and professional doctor I have ever dealt with. He is always on top of everything and he fills in for my other doctors when they are unavailable even. I have had the most hardest last two years of my health and he has been by my side the entire time . I honestly don't know what I would do if I didn't have a doctor like him. I have had quite a few of doctors that I didn't trust or felt that they just didn't care or want to help me. This is not the case with him. I can say to whomever is looking for a provider that goes above and beyond for each of his patients Dr. John Stevens is the right provider for you. I hope to always have him as my doctor and highly recommended him. I also have to make a shout out to his amazing nurses as well. They have helped me tremendously! I have been going to this office for well over 5 years now and hope to stay a patient for as long as possible. Again I highly recommended this doctor's office!!

Called to get a check-up appointment for my child as we already been there. Lady on the phone was absolutely useless. First she was trying to convince me we never been there and then was trying to convince me we only saw a male doctor. When we originally were seeing a female doctor. She said they don’t have records of that. Makes me doubt the professionalism of your clinic. Never going back.

I've been going here for over 35 years and have always had excellent care. Even after moving 250 miles away, I still come to Ballard Family Medicine.

Have had multiple medical issues that didn't fall under urgent care but need to taken care of before the 6-8 weeks to make an appointment I was quoted for. Make you jump through a ton of hoops just to get in and unfortunately it's the nearest Swedish campus near me and now I have to drive 15 mins to the nearest one.

I was looking for a family doctor because I didn't want to go to a different doctor than my daughter.  It's crazy how everyone isn't taking new patients or has a 3 month wait around here.  I guess it's just a sign of the growing city.  I called Swedish Family Medicine and they could get us in when I wanted and were super nice over the phone.  The office staff has been so helpful and the nurse we see is just great.  She takes the time to talk to my toddler and make her feel comfortable.  Dr Mountjoy has been great answering all my questions.  I know it's a rotation for her and I'll miss her but we'll stick with this practice.  The whole staff makes the experience great.
