List of The Polyclinic Broadway's Reviews
I see Dr Han at the GI clinic and gosh, she is just the nicest and most thorough. Her nurse Angela is SO friendly! I’m really lucky to have found this office immediately upon moving to Seattle! The whole staff at Polyclinic has been wonderful for me. Dr Gladstone did my hemorrhoidectomy and was super friendly and attentive as well. Lab testing has always been quick and efficient with very experienced nurses. Zero complaints from me!
they do not do covid tests despite what it says on their google listing, and were completely unable/unwilling to tell us where we could go instead.
Unprepared and rude. This has been a bad experience from the consultation, to the surgery, to post op. I’m experiencing an issue after surgery and my outpatient paperwork says that I can call my doctor at any time to speak to my surgeon or another one on staff. I called, and when I reached the Polyclinic, the operator was rude. They told me I did not have permission to speak to my surgeon and told me to just message on MyChart. I told them I have no available recipients on mychart so I’m not able to and they said they don’t have access to it and don’t have a number for me to call. Why give a 24 hour number on the paperwork if you “don’t have permission” to talk to your provider? They said they would leave a message with the surgeon but if I don’t hear anything by the end of the day I’m just going to urgent care and seeing another provider. This place is not worth it. And this is all just the tip of the iceberg.
After reading how the clinic scams people out of money, I won't be coming here. In fact they should know that this is fraud and I'm sure someone is gonna look into that. Totally insane. You can't find honest health care providers ANYWHERE
I called to ask for an appointment for annual blood tests and told me to walk in. I did that, the lady at the Lab check in was on the phone ignoring me, then when I finally asked for assistance she told me that I made it seem like I had an order put in and that without an order I can’t walk in. Would have been useful to get correct info on the phone and not waste time going in for nothing.
I went for an appointment in gastroenterology for which I had waited months. I checked in, and was placed in a room, ready for the doc, whenI was told my medicare advantage plan was no longer accepted.1 - I knew they were in negotiations, but had received a message that my date was still in affect. If it wasn't, why hadn't they CALLED so this 80 years didn't have to trudge through the snow for nothing! 2 - In fact it is still in effect - until the 23rd of this month. But the wait for a new appointment is two or three months. 3 - according to my insurance company, I was covered and would have been covered anyway due to some declared rules because of covid. 4 -- This is the most important - their phone system ishorrid! You get one number (1760) to call, and then the catch me if you camgame begins. Some operates are wonderful once you finally get them, butthe customer service representatives must be fed lemons all day. Rude, argumentative, and stop just short of saying "I don't care." I love my GP,but may never set foot in a polyclinic office again. They could have avoidedmy making a formal complaint thru my insurance if they had just not wastedthree hours of my time and been a bit nice about the fact I now have to wait several months again.
Two patients sat at the polyclinic Broadway waiting room for an overnight study, but guess what? The tech for the studies never showed up. After two reminders in MyChart and a text message to remind me that the “technician’s time is very valuable so I need to show up on time. If I needed to cancel or change the appointment I must call 48 hours in advance to reschedule or additional charges can accrue”. So, Polyclinic, please be expecting my bill for four hours of my time plus an “inconvenience fee” for not canceling the appointment within the required 48 hours, which caused me to make an unnecessary trip downtown. You have my mailing information on file so please send me renumeration as soon as possible. Thank you
Endoscopy Center is professional and knowledgeable
DO NOT GO TO THE POLYCLINIC. They have some great doctors...BUTSince United Health Group bought the Polyclinic, patient services are non-existent. When you call to schedule or reach a specific department, such as Internal Medicine, Urology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, etc...you are told to call 911 or wait until someone answers. Guess what...they never do answer. I have been on hold at least 20+ times for 1.5 to 2.5 hours with no response. You have an option for a "callback". Guess what...they never call back. They must have one person for the entire business responsible for answering calls. This is cost cutting gone berserk and has no place in the medical services. It does not matter how great the doctors or care is...if you cannot schedule an appointment to see someone, or talk to someone to determine if you need to see someone, it is a pointless exercise to have an unreachable doctors office. The customer service at the Polyclinic is ZERO. Each department used to have it's own check-in area. They have combined them into one desk to save money. They do not have people answering calls, to save money. The Polyclinic has become totally profit oriented and zero attention to the patients. A lot of great doctors have left for greener pastures, and most of the current medical staff are inexperienced new graduate doctors. Check it out for yourself on their website. If you decide to go, good luck trying to reach anyone on the phone. By the way, you cannot schedule an appointment online yourself. Plan to drop dead while waiting to get into the Polyclinic.
I've been trying to get an appointment for multiple days despite my primary requesting immediate care. I will probably be headed to the ER if they can't see me soon enough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
