Vinod Doreswamy's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Doreswamy has done an excellent job helping me manage my asthma. He asked detailed questions about my history with asthma, conducted the appropriate tests, and carefully planned a successive regimen. He is a very personable individual, and his office runs efficiently.

I was referred to this allergy specialist for GI symptoms and history of IBS. The provider was not the appropriate specialist, but they still wanted to conduct the visit. Provider tried to rationalize what they could offer. They were not able to relate medical relevance for their preferred dermatological (skin) tests. Provider was awkward and seemed to be fishing for agreement. Stated to provider this was not appropriate and tried to politely leave. Told medical assistant and provider it was an unfortunate situation. Provider still billed and did not use ICD-10 for "no charge" which is 9999.

I asked to be referred to an allergy specialist (for GI, IBS) from Dr. Sara Benveniste and thought that an internal referral would be a good idea. It was not. Dr. Doreswamy is not qualified to treat people with IBS. It was a complete waste of everyone's time and I walked away with a $488.57 bill. He wanted to do skin tests after disregarding my concerns and prior tests. He thought the skin test would offer something, but could not articulate what "that" was. I stated the test was not relevant and when I did this he was defensive. There was a language barrier and his staff seemed like they wanted to quit. His chart notes also did not reflect what objectively was discussed during the visit.

As a part time medical interpreter i have dealt with a 1000+ doctors and i know how to distinguish a good provider. Dr. Doreswamy belongs to a top medical professionals i 've ever met. His approach is very appealing and effective. In addition to a traditional treatment of the illness's symptoms ,he also looks at much wider picture and investigates an actual sickness cause and your immune system in general , by ordering multiple tests and procedures . I felt very fortunate that i was referred to him to treat my chronic sinusitis, which previous 5 doctors could not properly diagnose and cure. Dr.Doreswamy is very analytical, logical and meticulous with his treatment methods. He found many other immune deficiency problems i had but was not aware of. None of them were even considered by other doctors . What a marvellous person and specialist! I started to recommend Dr. Doreswamy to all my friends and relatives!! He deserves , to my opinion, the highest possible rating!

Dr. Doreswamy is wonderful. He is kind and empathic. I started seeing him for environmental allergies, including dog. I've been getting allergy shots and my quality of life has improved so much. But more than that, Dr. Doreswamy is amazing with his bedside manner, for lack of a better term. Our infant son has food allergies and he also sees Dr. Doreswamy. We trust him completely.

Dr. Doreswamy was very knowledgable and spent a lot of time explaining the nature of my condition with me to make sure I understood. He pushed for further testing when I was hesitant and I'm glad he did because he found a serious allergy that another allergist I had been to missed. Great doctor, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Doreswamy really took the time to explain everything and make sure I fully understood what was happening with me. He caught a serious allergy that was missed by my previous allergist and I struggled with symptoms for years without a clue what was happening with me. I am so thankful I went to see him and received such great care. Highly recommended.

Doctor Doraswamy was highly recommended to me by a very good doctor I had been seeing. My allergies were completely out of control. I had been to the emergency room 3 or 4 times and eventually ended up in the hospital. I am now back to running and training for a half marathon thanks to his care. It's completely turned my life around and I would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of care.

I went to see Dr. Doreswamy after I had multiple adverse reactions to eating something. I'd break out in red splotches all over my face, neck, and chest. After explaining the incident to him and completing a test, he told me I had no allergies at all, just an "adverse reaction to something" my body was rejecting. I showed him a photo of it and he said it all was just acne scars. Never had I had acne like that in those places. He entirely discounted my experience and did not help me. Cost >$1000!

I wouldn't be writing this right now if it wasn't for his great care.
