List of Washington Permanente Medical Group's Reviews
The staff at Northgate KP are second to none: they listen, they're knowledgeable, friendly and personable, & all of my needs are always met. They go above and beyond to answer my questions, give me feedback, & provide all necessary treatments to any and all of my medical concerns. Furthermore, their pharmacy, lab & radiology departments are very efficient and staffed with friendly people who are always considerate and helpful. Lastly, the security at the entrance along with the staff at the main desk are always welcoming and kind. I always look forward to my visits at KP !
Appointments are often cancelled by Kaiser office, and then are rescheduled 10 days later. Im sick now, and YOU cancelled the appointment, not me, why do I need to wait 10 days to have a phone conversation with my doctor! Disgusting woman on the phone was rude and incompetent.
I do not even know where to begin.
I'm another patient who had to leave Kaiser in order to get the care I needed. Earlier this year, I began having a range of concerning symptoms, seemingly out of nowhere. Because they all started around the same time, I assumed they were connected. Every doctor I spoke to, including my GP, ignored my suspicions that my symptoms were connected and downplayed the severity of my symptoms. One doctor even laughed at me when I asked her if a certain issue might be part of the problem. I was left with debilitating and terrifying symptoms, trying to figure out what was happening on my own. I finally changed insurance providers and sought care at another local practice. The GP there took me seriously and immediately referred me to specialists. The first one I saw listened when I said my symptoms were connected. He was able to make a diagnosis, and I immediately began treatment and am feeling much better. At Kaiser, I felt like there were hoops I had to jump through to get more tests or better care, but I didn't know what they were and no one would tell me. I just had to get lucky and land on the right thing. The doctors were also quick to write off my symptoms due to anxiety. I believe this is because I've had anxiety in the past and because I answered their little survey they give before each appointment that I had been experiencing anxiety in the past two weeks. Of course I felt anxious, my body was going haywire! Anxiety is real and treatable, but it shouldn't be the first assumption without doing significant further testing when a whole range of new symptoms pops up. Anyway. The bottom line is that Kaiser is (usually?) great if you have a straightforward, easily diagnosable issue, but they failed me immensely at the time I most needed care. I won't be returning, and I won't ever recommend their services again.
Good experiences for me at their behavior health service, but it is hard to get appointments with their therapists
I love this facility, I mean nobody loves going to the doctor but this place is always clean, everyone is friendly, and there is easy parking
Very friendly staff and they were able to see me before my appointment time which was great!
As one of Dr. Shigaki's patients for many years, I have been more than grateful for what she has done for me as my doctor. She has always been eager and humble to ensure my needs, and it puts my mind at ease to know that I have been in her primary care. I can't thank her enough for the work she has done for me. I hope that her willingness to help patients will always shine through, and may her empathy always be appreciated.
I get never get through to make an appointment. It take about 3 call backs before someone actually helps me. They can only find you in there system by your Kaiser ID. The appointment staff are rude when you call in and unhelpful a waited 35 mins to make my daughter an appointment thisMorning for them to tell me to call member services for her MRN and call back and was promptly hung up on. This system is inefficient and extremely frustrating.
Anything COVID related, do not go here. Even if you have appointment and you check in on time. You still need to wait for an hour or two for the nurse to give you a test or vaccination. The management is the worst.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
