List of Xiangping (Pearl) Ren's Reviews
Dr. Ren is thorough and exacting. I fully understood the procedures and the outcome expectations. Her staff and she work together like a well-oiled machine. She explained that there would be some pain in the injection process. I felt it, of course. I would describe it as something I might say "ouch" over, and it went away in a few seconds. I will note that I tolerate pain well, in general. She absolutely does pre-anaesthetize (skin areas) prior to the deep injections. My experience was very positive with Dr. Ren. The outcome was excellent-- reduced pain that has lasted for about a year now. This is what I expected. The negative reviews are the opinions of some, and I cannot refute their experiences; however, they are not what I would say at all. Dr. Ren speaks mildly accented English and has a serious demeanor with a dry sense of humor. I found her to be delightful, caring, and completely frank! Thanks for reading my review.
Don't waste your time with her. Go to a different doc! She's dismissive, rude, and cruel. She dismissed my symptoms as anxiety, when in reality I had pretty severe issues going on which took months to discovered after her initial dismissal. I also had the medical history which should have been indication #1 for her that it wasn't psychological, but instead I was dismissed as crazy. Run, don't walk, away from this doctor. Or at the very least, promptly get a second opinion.
To whom it may concern, I have been a patient of Dr. Ren for better part of a decade through the years my procedures with her have been very successful. She explains in detail the approach she’s going to take for your care and explains yours scans as well in layman terms so you know what exactly you are looking at for the best course of action . always accessible to discuss your options. sincerely otis
Dr Ren helped my Sciattic nerve with her skilled injection. Now I a eagerly awaiting an treatment on the LH side. Can’t wait. She is great
My experience showed Dr Ren and team to be polite, yet unfortunately incompetent. Going to Virginia Mason moving forward for care.
Her crew was amazing. Very nice, communicative and it was a quick process for neck injections. The only negative I have is to situate the lay-down process better. My chest needed to be elevated more so my neck wasn’t inverted. She did realize that towards the end of the process and noted to her team to improve that next time. If I need to get them again I would definitely go to her.
Pretty negative experience. Her injection was violent and painful, flared my symptoms instantly. I'm still suffering as a result, took no accountability for anything. Many people saying similar things and she doesn't seem to see an issue
I also had an excruciatingly painful cervical cortisone injection. Screamed through it, as she forced the needle in. No sedation offered. Staff held me down and told me to "breathe." I sobbed thru the whole followup appt, I was so traumatized. Have since gone to another clinic which offers much more comfortable treatments, with kindness, caring and sedation. Stay away from Dr. Ren.
Dr. Ren was not responsive to our follow up calls or emails after an issue arose related to the prescription she wrote. Finally, after several weeks and numerous attempts to get a response we were forced to find another doctor. Completely unacceptable medical care!
There are not enough positive adjectives to describe her professionalism, compassion, abilities, caring.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
