Doctor Shih is the worst doctor i have ever seen! she's a very rude doctor. When i was having an infertility problem i would seek to her for an advice if she knew any infertility doctors? Doctor Shih said, I do not believe in those kind of doctors. It's either you can have a baby or not. I still went to see an infertility doctor that someone had recommended me to see. when i was finally pregnant my stomach was cramping. My infertility doctor had advised me to see my OBGYN doctor. i was so excited to tell doctor Shih about my great news. I've informed the nurse and her that i am finally pregnant. Then doctor Shih ordered a pregnancy test its like she doesnt believe me, then when it came out positive she got mad at me for not telling her and I've wasted her time and the pregnancy stick. I just ignored her outburst thinking she cannot ruin the best day of my life. That I am finally pregnant it took us 6 years to finally conceive. My infertility doctor had informed me to ask my OBGYN for an excuse letter for work that i cannot lift or push and pull any heavy machine. Then doctor Shih snapped at me and my husband again stating i will not loose my baby and i am ok to lift 50lbs and up. She then said back in the days Chinese women worked in the field till they gave birth. They never complain about anything. I brushed it off again and just continue telling her why i am here to see her. I told her that i am having some cramp. Dr shih then said oh then you just had a miscarriage. I am like, i just came from my infertility doctor we just heard my baby's heart beat. She then said well you don't need to go to the ER to remove it you will just bleed and that's it. I was so dumbfounded what's been coming out of her mouth. I just kept my cool and left her office. After that incident i never came back to her office. I found the best OBGYN doctor. She took really good care of me and my baby. I am so happy that dr shih showed me her true colors that she is not the right doctor that will care for me and my babys wellbeing. I dont know what is going on with her head. she's got some issue. I think she needs to retire and stop being so bitter or something.Before the pregnancy issue i have been her patients for over 5yrs, i didn't have any issues with her then. There are times she can be very blunt but i dealt with her. I laughed thinking she might be joking. She became really rude and hurtful till i got pregnant. I don't usually see her unless i really need to. When i see her she'll say you're here again, what do you want? I'm like the last time i saw you was like 6months or a year ago. In my mind she's just kidding. I am just glad that someone is looking after of me and my baby. I left her just in time!

For what it's worth, I'm in a profession where I'm trained to be skeptical and people pay me to be critical. But I have nothing but praise to offer about Dr. Price. She clearly explained to me everything I needed to know about her role in the procedure I was having done, but in a way that expressed she wanted to make sure that I was comfortable with my knowledge of the procedure, not just to comply with disclosure and consent laws. From the moment she entered the room, Dr. Price's demeanor immediately put me at ease. She had a sparkle in her eyes and a smile on her face that communicated she cares. At the same time she spoke to me with a confidence that let me rest assured she knew what she was doing. Of course, this being about anesthesia, I don't remember much more, but I guess that's a good thing. The doctor certainly did her job, I went to sleep quickly, without any anxiety and I've had no residual symptoms or complaints since. If ever I have the opportunity to choose an anesthesiologist in the future, I'll be calling for Dr. Price.

Excellent care

I struggled finding a new doctor after the one i loved moved out of state. So i picked Christine Shih based on insurance. I saw her one time for a refill on my anti depressant. I told her I was having anxiety too which I never dealt with before. She told me depression and anxiety are the same thing. Guess what? They're not. Thankfully now i found a wonderful doctor but this lady was unprofessional.

Dr. Shih is a very conscientious doctor and I appreciate her for her candor and frankness. I have been seeing Dr. Shih for many years and will continue to see her. She has a tongue in cheek humor that is not off putting, at least for me. I can laugh as I know how she is intending her words to be understood. Some people may need a different "bedside" manner, but I like to be talked to like a family member, straight to the point and blunt. Her expertise is in general medicine and she does a very good job. If you want a sugar coated experience find another doctor. If you want to hear the facts as she sees it...go to her.

The Most Unprofessional and RUDE doctor i have ever seen in my life! After going to see her many many times, she kept telling me i was fine i was ok and after one year i had to have a very serious procedure(Surgery) done that was detected by another doctor. All Dr Shih said was "your ok your ok" If it wouldn't have been for the other doctor telling me what was wrong with me, i might not have been here today. I ALSO had bronchitis and could never get an appointment with her and when i did she said " YOUR here again, your here all the time" TALK about unprofessional and RUDE!!!! It baffles me how this doctor has ANY patients!! She has called me "fat" and at appointments when i would tell her what was going on with my current health she would say " i can only take one thing at a time" Make an appointment for the rest of your problems" PLEASE DO NOT Waste your time, money, insurance, and save yourself from What could be the WORST EXPERIENCE OF YOUR LIFE!

I recently saw Dr. Shih for a lump under my armpit. I was reluctant to bring this issue up to another doctor because the previous two doctors laughed when I told them the issues I was having. I called Dr. Shih's office in the A.M. to schedule an appointment. When I was asked why I needed to see her I explained and the nurse accommodated me with a same day appointment later that evening. When Doctor Shih saw me she was polite and professional and listened to everything I had to say. She also believed me which made me feel great given my experience with previous doctors. I give Dr. Shih 5 stars because she listened and investigated my lump and followed through complete with a followup phone call after the test which is rare from doctors these days. I plan to have my whole family see her from now on and I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a Family Physician.
