She is very very good. I have seen a lot of counselors. She is compassionate and is concerned with helping you learn and improve. If you are wanting a counselor just to listen to you she’s probably not the best choice. But if you want a counselor to help you actually learn how to cope and change the way you think through home work and hard work then she’s the one for you. I’m very surprised she doesn’t have great reviews from some. She’s very very good. I’ve bounced around to a lot before finding her.

Dr. McLeod is wonderful! Very professional, compassionate and uses evidence-based techniques and approaches. She teaches strategies and coping tools, and is more than just a sympathetic ear who gets paid to listen (as some therapists are).

Very smart and very thorough. Amazing experience! I work for The Everett Clinic and can tend to be very selective with my providers. She was absolutely Amazing! Very happy with my choice of new therapist! She gave me great tools for handling my panic attacks. And even offered some insight as to what caused me to have these issues with anxiety. Since I work for the medical field, I can be somewhat harsh on providers, if I feel I have not received the right care. Dr. Laura Macleod was absolutely fantastic! I do not want another therapist after her! She offers great insight as to the root cause of your issue, but in a very benign way. Love her and will continue my care through her!
