Dr. G. Christen is the BEST Doctor EVER. I had a pretty bad case of preeclampsia with my first child (in another state) back in 2000. Everything went bad: my pregnancy, my prenatal care, my labor and the birth of my first daughter. Due to unknown reasons she passed away at the age of 6 months old. You can only imagine how devastated and scared I was of having another child. Yet we ended up moving to WA and decided to "try" again a couple of years after the tragedy. But I was having trouble conceiving and different OB/GYN's were leaving me feeling hopeless. So a friend referred us to see Dr. Christen. And from the moment I had my first appointment with him, I just knew that I had met the best Doctor I could've ever hoped for. He was so calm, gentle and so reassuring, that he took away all of my doubts, fears and anxieties and gave me reason to hope. Although my second pregnancy didn't go as smoothly as most (since I have a genetic predisposition for risk pregnancies), it went so much better than I could've hoped for. Dr. Christen was always available when I needed him and patiently explained everything in detail to me. So yes, your appointments may not always happen on time since you may have to wait, but it's ok. Because every patient of Dr. Christen knows, how much time he takes for each and every one because he actually cares. And I'd rather have that, than a Dr. who is punctual but rushes through your exam and doesn't take the time to listen and really help you. In 2006, my second daughter was delivered by c-section and everything went well. Dr. Christen took such good care of me and my baby. Still to this day I tell my daughter (now 15) about the Doctor who delivered her with great fondness and thankfulness for how he helped me become a mom again. We since have moved to Germany (my place of birth) and I am currently 41 years old and entering my second trimester of pregnancy (it was a surprise to all of us). Of course I am experiencing complications again and am considered high risk. I did find a pretty decent OB/GYN over here (although they don't deliver) and will also be seeing a specialist for risk pregnancies at least once a month. It's going to be another c-section delivery my Doctor already told me. I feel that I'll be alright, but still I find myself really missing Dr. Christen now and wished that Germany had one just like him. If you can have the opportunity to receive care from Dr. Christen, I know you won't regret it. He'll always be the BEST!!!!

Dr. Christen took care of my wife throughout her pregnancy back in 2013. I can never thank him enough for it.

Never reviewed a doctor but feel like I have to here. Finally after years of being talked down to and my symptoms belittled by so many OBGYNs, he finally listened to me and within a couple minutes had a plan of attack. Finally have my diagnosis and understand things that have been happening to my body for over a decade! Also performed a surgical procedure and was so calming without sugar coating anything, so I knew exactly what my options were and what to expect. And because of how he practices he saved me from further problems. He’s smart, doesn’t talk down to you, and takes his time to make sure you fully understand what’s happening. Can’t sing his praises enough! His nurses and office staff are also top notch.

Dr. Christen is an amazing doctor and I can not recommend him highly enough. He is knowledgeable and puts patients first. I needed to have emergency surgery and his patient advocacy got me in the door even when my insurance wouldn’t get their act together with a referral. It was a long and sensitive surgery and my abdominal scar healed wonderfully and with no numbness or strength lost. We are now expecting our first child and I attribute my continued fertility to that surgery and his skillful care.

He is amazing! I couldn’t ever in a million years imagine having someone else as my OB!

From the east coast to the west coast, Dr. G. Christen is the best Doctor I have ever had, hands down. He really takes his time to answer all of your questions and is very optimistic. And during my second pregnancy, I had a lot of anxieties and fears, due to the fact that I was prone to pregnancy complications and had endured the death of my first child, 6 months after her birth, (also in the care of another OB Gyn at the time). Not only was Dr. Christen very helpful and knowledgeable throughout my pregnancy and helped me avoid having major complications again, he was also able to ease my mind completely and made the entire experience of having a child so much better for me, than what I had endured with the Dr. who took care of me during my first pregnancy. My Daughter is now 11 years old and Dr. Christen remains my favorite Doctor throughout all these years.

Dr christen is AMAZING, I was able to put my faith in him entirely to treat me adequately during pregnancy and deliver our baby. Hoping he will stI'll be in practice if we decide to have another
