List of Kaiser Permanente's Reviews
In the last few years I've been seen by Christopher Adrig PA at urgent care, each time I have been very impressed with his professionalism, caring and desire to listen to his patients.I tried to get an appointment with my primary Dr, her soonest available appointment was in nearby two months.I had wonderful care, thank you
In the last couple months, I've gone to the Kaiser Permanente Silverdale Urgent Care clinic twice: the first time for accidentally cutting deeply my thumb; the second for an infection on my hand from a cat bite. Justin treated the wounds both times. His energy was calm and re-assuring, he took time to explain the procedures and present different options. The rest of the staff were friendly and professional. The results in both cases were excellent.
Providers are rushed, because they’re graded on how many patients they “process,” rather than outcomes or patient satisfaction. This makes them be arrogant and impatient, not listen to direct questions, and in general not care about anything other than getting patients out of their offices as quickly as possible.Further, the wait time for appointments with any provider is often 2-3 months. I’ve occasionally gone to their ER as I was unable to see a doctor for months. You (nominally) can communicate with your providers via Kaiser’s message service , but they don’t respond.I would change, but I doubt any other HMO would be any better. Suggestions are welcome.
Dr. Shannon Phibbs doesn't care about her patients. It's scary that she is in healthcare.
This review is NOT on the staff or establishment itself. It's on one of their doctors and her name is Dr. Shannon Hopkins Phibbs. I am shaking in anger and disgust while writing this review. This woman needs to be exposed. I have never felt so degraded in my life. Within THREE minutes of meeting me, she had already diagnosed me without ANY examination. I was so surprised by her carelessness, that I began to cry in disbelief. I asked her how she could be so sure of herself without even looking at me or talking to me. Every concern I had, she immediately shot down, repeatedly telling me she only had 20 minutes to give me. She was rude and unprofessional to say the least. My experience with this Doctor will forever be embedded in my memory and therefore I believe it's my obligation and responsibility to warn future patients over her complete lack of care and professionalism as a physician. This is her bio quote; "The opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives is what I enjoy most about my work." What a shame. She's literally a LIAR and a FRAUD. BEWARE.
I came in for abdominal pains. Of course we all know that when you’re in pain you’re looking for the quickest service possible. At urgent care, the people were pleasant. They gave me a quick and accurate diagnosis and the convenience of the doctors, the lab and CT scan all in one place helped. Came out with a treatment plan and medicine in hand.
As far as specialists go, Dr. Chandler and his LPN, Suzy in sports med are AMAZING! They are always open to getting me in when I need and working with me on choosing the best route for treatment and what next steps are if first choice doesn’t work as we plan. Its been way easier to get in to see specialists than it is to see my own PCP… 🤷🏻♀️ I am extremely grateful to Dr. Chandler and Suzy!!
The RN and MD in urgent care in Silverdale Kaiser made my visit an exceptional experience this morning. They were able to diagnose my condition and prescribe the appropriate medication and get me on my way quickly. Their bedside manner was friendly and made me comfortable during the entire visit. They are two of the reasons we continue with Kaiser.
It's a definite hit and miss when it comes to providers. Some do everything they can while in urgent care while others just keep pushing covid into your throat. Not every illness is covid and vice versa. Then you have drs just pushing covid down your throat, and then push you out when they see you for maybe less than a minute don't ask anything about what is going on. How long it's lasted or anything. I ended up going home last night with no answers only for what I went in for to get worse. This is one reason why I can't even trust medical drs these days because they just aren't there for the patients. They don't try to figure out the root cause and keep blaming covid.
Having been diagnosed with an appendicitis in a timely manner i would expect it to be taken out in a timely manner. Due to some logistical issue Kaiser had i had to wait 10 hr for my procedure, totally unacceptable. My appendix perforated within that time frame which caused me to have to spend extra time in the hospital hooked up to iv antibiotics. The overall experience did not have to suck as bad as it did.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
