Marc Mitchell's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Mitchell recently performed a radical prostatectomy on me. Anyone lucky enough to be worked into his busy schedule will find he's arguably the most professional and proficient urological surgeon in the region, including those at the top hospitals in Seattle. Years ago he was recruited by TDC from Indiana to head up the robotics department and his mastery of the Da Vinci surgical system at this point is probably unrivaled. And yes he has a sense of humor which makes him cool too.

He knew exactly what to do. No messing around, straight to the point kind of doctor.

He was totally unprofessional and joked about cutting my manhood off.

I only saw him on the day of surgery. There was a post surgical hematoma which was not caught by his assistant after several visits. He said she was not qualified to diagnose this complication. It required a second surgery. I had more satisfactory results with another surgeon

This Doctor changed my life. I have a very large prostate ( cancer free ) and getting up to relieve my self at night 3 to 5 times was not allowing for good rest. I saw DR Mitchell and he recommended a EURO lift procedure. This has changed my life, I now get up once a night. I had the procedure done with local at the office. Yes a bit uncomfortable but left without a catheter. I also know my recovery time was better as no anesthetic to wear off. There was a bit of uncomfort relieving myself after the procedure, just take you pain pills. One week after, i was fine. I would recommend this procedure and DR Mitchell. Recently I was diagnosed with a tumor in my bladder. The discovery, via CT scan, was discovered on a Wednesday, the next Tuesday Dr. Mitchell had me in surgery and removed the tumor. He is an excellent doctor with some of the most informative meetings, and a direct approach to helping his patients understand not only the challenges, but what to expect down the road. His continued care of his patients is very evident. This man is not your ordinary doctor, but one who feels compelled to make each and every person feel good. Thanks again Dr. Mitchell!!!

Dr. Mitchell and his assistant Shawn are helpful, professional and caring. I would recommend them to anyone requiring Urology care.

Dangerous man. Performed robotic surgery on my dad who had massive colon scarring from previous surgeries and was not an appropriate candidate. Left 100 stitches in him and fed him a,sandwhich. . Let my dad go septic in small Pavillion for 15 hrs before he went to hospital. Miss my dad.

If i could leave a negative star i would. this man called my grandfather and told him over the phone that he had cancer. did not give anymore information literally got on the phone after two weeks of waiting ( i work in the medical field pathology generally takes a week) he simply said " yes so he has cancer" when you become a doctor you sign on to be a patient advocate this man is CLEARLY in this for the money do NOT trust him with your loved ones. This man simply cares about the money

Dr. Mitchell is arrogant and abrasive in his overall professional demeanor. Used the word "nuts" to refer to the male anatomy, and was unnecessarily rough in his exam technique, to the point of inducing injury to the anatomy in question. Definitely avoid.
